Thursday Birthday fun

My roommates' birthday was on Thursday and her parents were visiting. The day before me and her sister went to grab decorations at party city and I hid them in my room. I had to keep it a secret because we are always going in and out of each others' rooms. I waited until she left in the morning so I can surprise her with her room being decorated. When she got back she was surpised. I also ordered her mini cupcakes because she loves them. We got coffee after and went to our class. Later in the day we invited our friends over for a fun night. We had a lot of fun!!!! Best birthday ever

Busy Saturday

Yesterday morning my roommates' friends from home were visiting from Tallahassee, so we went to go pick them up at my roommates' condo she has here. This was my first time meeting them and they were all really sweet. We tried this place called "Surfs Up" which is an acai bowl place. They were probably one of the best ones we had. We then later went to Publix to grab some snacks and food for their visit. We then later got ready to go out and show them a little around Columbia. When we got home at night we ate Wingstop, it was really good.

Busy Thursday

Thursdays are both a mix of crazy and chill. It's like almost the weekend but not really yet. I have to go to class at 10:05 and it ends at 11:20 but feels like forever though. I will probably get coffee after and go to the gym. I might get a brown sugar shaken espresso with almond milk (as always). I have a medium break until my next class so I usually go home in between, then walk with my roommate to our next class we have together. I have to get more work done because I have many assignments due Friday, but I like getting them done before so I am not stressed. After class I'll walk back but not with my roommate because she has a class after sadly. Next we have our Valentine's cocktail and my boyfriend is visiting. He lands at 4 something and is coming in from New York. We then have plans to go to my roommates' big's place at the Hub. Happy Thursday! :)

Another Day in life

Just another Wednesday... the day in the middle of the week where its halfway through and you just want it to be Friday already. Anyways, I had class at 12 today which was nice because I got to sleep in and did not have to rush around unlike my earlier classes on Tuesdays and Thursdays. I got up threw on some sweatpants and a sweatshirt because I had looked at the weather and it was going to be a rainy day. I debated on getting coffee before class but I ended not getting some. Class flew by and I left to go get food at the Zeta House. It was chicken and broccoli which was really good. I went home and wanted to take a nap but I didn't have enough time, so I went to the gym. I had a lot of work to finish so I will end up finishing it all at night

SuperBowl Sunday

This morning me and my roommate got Starbucks to start our day. After my roommate had to go to a recruitment workshop that was 4 hours long. I stayed here finishing all my homework and stuff. When she comes back we are going to dinner with all of our friends to watch the SuperBowl. Were sitting down and eating at Market On Main then we will probably do something after. I think most people are going to want the Eagles to win but I think Chiefs will win again. Then after when we get back I might study for my econ test on Tuesday.

The past Saturday.

Yesterday was Saturday and I had a lacrosse game in Georgia. One of my friends took me on our long drive there and our other friend was with us too. It was really nice out yesterday with a high of 75 in Georgia. We did not play that well unfortunately and we lost. They were the best team we have played yet though. 7 of us went out to eat at this Mexican restaurant after, and it was really good. After that, we went on our drive home that was about 3 hours long. When I got home my roommate wanted Menchie's (frozen yogurt place) so we went and got strawberry frozen yogurt and it was amazing. Our friend Elle came over after and we had a fun night.

Very long saturday

Tomorrow is saturday which means I have a lacrosse game... in Auburn. I just found out that I made the team yesterday. It is the night before and I still have to pack snacks for tomorrow. We leave really early tomorrow morning and have to be at Strom at 5am, then the bus leaves at 5:30, its around a 5 hour long drive which could be a lot worse. I am really excited and also nervous since this is my first game in college and the last time I had a game was last May for school. Our first game is at 12 then our second one is at 2pm, then we go home afterwards... that drive is going to be rough.

Today in the afternoon..

This morning I woke up late. I woke up and my roomate and I went to starbucks. I don't have classes on fridays so its a chill, calm, slow day for me. It is really nice having fridays off because I can have a reset day and do other things that I need to get done. We went to the dining hall after and both got Chicfila. She got nuggets and I got a cool wrap with light balsamic dressing which was really good. Then my roomate left to go to mountain weekend so now its just me here lol. I have to wake up at 4:30 am to leave for auburn for the lacrosse team.

Thursday

I am so excited for Thursday to come because that's when I will see my best friends from home again. I am going to Gasparilla in Tampa (their school) and staying there until Sunday. I know it has only been like a week since I left but it feels like a long time since I had last seen them. I can't wait for the warmer weather there, on Sunday it is going to reach 71 which is so nice because I hate the cold a lot lol. My other friend who goes here is coming with me too. Our flight is at night so we are landing pretty late into Tampa and so is our returning flight.

Today

This morning I woke up freezing and not wanting to get out of bed. I thought classes were going to be canceled... but they weren't. I had to go to my early class today which was economics. It was long and boring. While in that class I got a notification that my later class had been canceled and was so happy lol. Later I have to grab my packages from the leasing office. My mom had to ship most of my stuff to me because I live in New York and a lot didn't fit in my suitcase. I was supposed to have lacrosse tryouts tonight but the snow got them canceled, but they got moved to tomorrow now from 9-11pm.

Tomorrow

Tomorrow is Friday which means I don't have classes (yay). I do have a lot of work due tomorrow though, like Management Science 290. It is a class where we use excel which I am definitely going to need for my future job which is something in finance. Then I will probably go to the gym after and hang out with my friends and watch the UCA Cheer Nationals online through Varsity TV. One of my best friends from home is competing for Morehead State and want to watch her compete. Her team won Nationals last year so they definitely have a good chance to win again.

Days in my life

Hi, I am Liana Taormina and I made this blog to talk about days in my life every time I come on here. Recently, this morning I had to uber to class because I was going to be late, oops. I made it there on time though. I had ECON 221 and it is kind of hard to begin with. I had taken economics in high school and it was my least favorite subject. After ECON I have political science. My roommate has it with me too. Then later, I have lacrosse tryouts which I am nervous for. On tuesday we had them too but now they are adding two more days and an invitational round next tuesday to see who gets invited back. I hope I make it lol.
