The Intellectual Bankruptcy of UP Activism - A Dilemma.

The activism in our country, especially in our government has worsen than how it used to be before, way back "Martial Law" era. Every politicians didn't want to be succumbed by their fellow politicians, everyone wants to speak up and be the cheer of the crowd, one never wanted to get left behind.

This attack on Sec. Butch Abad regarding on the 10-B peso PDAF scam is said to blow up UP's honor, to show off how great UP alumni are. I felt very exasperate and annoyed by how Filipinos think and act today, practicing the "crab-mentality" immorality that grimes our nationality. Beyond this so-called "hooliganism" they kept on criticizing how intimidating our rotten ideas are, that could only result in the exhausting strength of our intellectual lives.

The only way that they could fight back and win with a Garibay and a Monsod, is through physical, for they lack words to express their winning thoughts, and physical fights would do better for their success.

The government is boycotting the voice of the youth, bit by bit, to prevent the youth to speak up their minds and block them from revealing the obscured truth. The "Anti-Selfie Bill" is one of the great example of it. They did not want the juveniles to be the reason of their fall. That's why.

I do not know what is the profound reason of every politician in doing this, but all I know is the chain reaction effect it would cause to us. One falls after the other, and the other, and the rest. Until none of us will remain standing still.

Another day of blast with my fellow choirmates kagabi. :"> Pang-ilang araw na ba? Pang-apat na araw na, mula last week ang rehearsals for the fiesta ng simbahan. Geeeez. Nakakapanawa 'no? Sa inyo. Kasi ako, di ako nagsasawang makasama sila. Sila lang talaga gusto kong makasama. Sa bahay, mag-isa lang ako. :3 Wooooh, hugot! :P Tama na, 4th day na kagabi. As usual, same old concert pieces. "I Have A Plan" and "Iyung-Iyo", then "Aba Ginoong Maria" para sa "MARINGAL NA PAGBIBIHIS KAY MARIA" sa October 1. Sunud-sunod kasi eh, but it has never been a hassle. Priority eh.<3 Hahahaha. Yun lamaaaaaang! :) Update mamaya, kasi may Mass Service sa EDSA Shrine. Byeeeeh! ♥

REALIZATIONS

Naniniwala ako na kapag gusto mong makamit ang isang bagay, you need to sacrifice. Wala kang makakamit kung wala kang isasakripisyo. Parang sa akin lang, I don't feel any fulfillment and contentment sa academics, kaya mas pinagtutuunan ko ng pansin ang church life ko. And kasama na rin ang social life. Mwehehehe. But if you need to focus on both, you have to compromise the one, and balance the other. :)

Always remember, balance is only on two sides. Hindi na balance yan pag naging tatlo. :D

Hindi ko alam kung paano ko sasabihin sa'yo 'to. Hindi kasi ako vocal sa feelings ko eh. Hindi sa nahihiya ako, kundi nauunahan lang ako ng takot sa mga criticisms and mga sasabihin ng tao sakin. Ayoko rin mana ng attention at mahusgahan.

Alam ko namang once, twice, or thrice a week lang tayo magkita, because we're both busy.. ikaw sa work, and me both on work and studies, kaya palagi kitang namimiss. Hahahahah. But we still keep seeing to it na magmemeet tayo at least twice a week. ;) Imba ka rin 'no?
