I was alone for this 4th of July holiday (Independence Day), so I made this.

Accidentally left the metronome on in this demo... That's a bit embarrassing. Sorry about that.

Anyway, I played in most of the notes for this using my midi guitar controller, so that was a fun challenge! I'm working on a full melodic break right now, so hopefully I'll make something of this song. Enjoy!

I recently started working at a popular fast food place.

They’re supposed to start you off with training videos, but the computer couldn’t connect to the network, so instead, I learned how to make fries.

Making Fries is a pretty menial task, and after mastering the skill, I learned some new things, like wiping tables and sweeping up trash; my trainer and I even put rags in a washing machine. We watched the sticker machine spit out a few stickers. Those jobs made making fries sound good. I wanted to learn, but the next task seemed daunting: taking drive-thru orders.

My trainer assured me that he wouldn’t make me take drive-thru orders alone, but I was still scared.

My trainer did over half of the button presses because I was unfamiliar with the menu navigation system, but he mostly let me do the talking.

I have 2 more days of pictures and I’m planning to keep drawing more, so maybe I’ll keep posting stories.. :)

I’m scrolling through my dashboard and the post about the “Most gorgeous man in Saudi Arabia” comes up as my dad is walking past. Then the following happens.

“Who’s that guy?”(Dad)

“He was deported from his home country for being too handsome”

“OH. That’s why I’m not allowed back in Canada.” (Said with a deadpan face as he walked out of the room.)
