Liber Mundi International Zine Project

This SFPL event will occur on Thursday, October 27, 2016 from 6:00 - 7:30 at Main Library Branch, Skylight Gallery

Liber Mundi International Zine Project Exhibition

This SFPL exhibit will occur Tue, 9/6/2016 - Thu, 10/27/2016 at Main Library, Skylight Gallery

Opening on September 6th and ending with an artist talk with Katherine Pulido on October 27th. This exhibit couldn’t come at a better time as it coincides with the SF Zine Fest!

Cognitive Positioning System

Host Christopher Kardambikis sits down for a conversation with artist Janine Biunno. The pair cover Biunno's travels since she met Kardambikis in Pittsburgh in 2005 and then delve into the stack of zines Biunno brought in the studio. Janine Biunno is a visual artist based in Brooklyn, NY whose work typically analyzes and interprets the semiotics of the built environment. Janine's artwork addresses the subjective practice of understanding and representing the architecture, infrastructure and density of urban space, and how our general perception of those physical spaces is altered due to the increasing influence of the digital realm.
