Surya coughs at whatever bed he's in, I'll say it's not in the medical cabin because... Stuff is happening there!
He tries to sit up, god he's dizzy. What happened?
Oh. Right.
He'd given up-
It's fine though.
Noa’s head snaps up immediately. He silently shifts the pillows to prop Surya up.
He holds out three fingers. “How many fingers am I holding up?”
He waits a beat.
“Do you remember your name?”

Naledi is drifting in and out of sleep at the bedside when Surya wakes. She's woken up by the sound of Noa's voice, and the added movement of him adjusting the pillows. She straightens up, keeping quiet for now to let Noa handle this part. And so she can gather her own thoughts.

"..tw- three fingers. and uh. Sun... Surya."
He gives a tired nod and sits back down. Okay. This was okay. He could speak, he could blink…
But could he remember…?
“Do you know what happened?”

"Student with super strength tama" he takes a hand to his head, the pounding is pounding goddamn.
"... falco?" he remembers his nephew was thrown in as well. barely but he does.
He won't mention just how little he remembered that part.
"Falco is alright," Naledi finally speaks up, her tone soft. Her hand twitches at her side, longing to grab his to reassure herself he's really okay. She keeps herself as still as she can manage. There's no telling if he's in the right space to accept that.

That's what Alvince said while leeched and you didn't even notice. They shouldn't have rescued you.
The man I love almost died in one of the worst ways possible, of course I'm terrified!
"It's hard not to be, after almost losing such a dear friend," she says instead, shoving the indignant anger to the back of her mind. Snapping at him will not help. No matter how much she wants to yell at him, she needs to keep a level head, she keeps telling herself.
Noa takes a shaky breath. “What she said. I don’t think I could handle it if you passed.”
He runs a hand through his hair. This is too much. More than he expected, in fact. Why does he feel hot…?
“I’m going to go for a walk..”
Surya lays back down "Noo stay... I need beautiful people around me to heal..."
Naledi wants to scream.
"I could just surround your bed with mirrors in that case," she says, the words slipping out before she can stop them.
She doesn't really regret saying it, though.
Noa chuckles, rubbing his neck awkwardly. “She’s right. You are the prettiest person I have ever met.”
Naledi was beautiful too. And Gyes. And Kuno. An—
Wait. Beautiful? Noa? Twice now Surya has admitted to liking him.
Did that mean it was true??
The heat’s getting worse. He switches to rubbing the jagged scar on his collarbone instead.

Then he activates his tama go cover up his face (and Falco's though nobody can see?

She reaches out, finally letting her hand rest over his.
Noa starts picking at the scar. “Me too. Don’t worry; you will be surrounded by people who love you.”

“NO!” He shouts. He can’t let Surya die. Please please he just got him back….
