I find Tech’s reaction to Crosshair’s reveal about his chip to be especially heartbreaking, because he genuinely looks so betrayed.
Tech is always planning for outcomes, and I wholeheartedly believe that this is one he wasn’t expecting. He, like the others, had been depending upon the fact that it was Crosshair’s chip making him act this way, just to discover that it wasn’t.
The pure shock in Tech’s eyes leading into such an angry, hurt furrow really says it all. We rarely ever see Tech like this.
It also, for me, makes what he says to Wrecker later even more impactful. “Crosshair has always been severe and unyielding. It is his nature. You cannot change that. He cannot change that.”
Tech is coming to terms with what Crosshair did, and what he was standing for, in real time, and is realizing (and accepting) that there was sadly nothing they, even Tech, could have done to prevent this outcome.
If I had a nickel for every time the republic had a force intended to protect them, and said force was sentient and had wants and needs and feelings, but was encouraged/required to discard them and be completely selfless in their servitude to the republic, I’d have two nickels. Which isn’t a lot but it’s weird that it happened twice
When the head canon is so bad it makes me wanna cannon my head
i hate when top wildlife predators are just lil babies teeny tiny babies
. that is a serial killer
Anti-shippers are very toxic to a fandom and unnecessary. Star Wars antis are so so insufferable, like let people ship who they wanna ship.
With all that being said, it is okay to be an anti-shipper for luxsoka. In fact, I implore you to be. Because why would anybody ship them. Absolutely not.
“If you can’t pronounce it, you shouldn’t be putting it in your body” mfs when I throw them a bottle of Worcestershire sauce
“He was so proud of them—and at the same time so afraid...he loved them for themselves. He could list each man’s scars, recite each man’s quirks…Close-helmeted, in full body armor, he knew every one of them by his walk.”
Anakin’s heart couldn’t take any more grief.
sometimes u just gotta be a lil silly edit: here he is tiny if you want to add him to your discord
Thinking of Riyo:
This is the absolute saddest type of art in Star Wars but like also the deepest. When I see Echo with Fives’ helmet. Rex with Jesse’s helmet. Luke with Vader’s helmet. Ragnar with Paz’s helmet. Omega with Tech’s helmet. Crosshair with Tech’s helmet. Numa with Waxer or Boil’s helmet. Ahsoka with the 332nd orange painted helmet. Fives with Tup’s helmet. Etc. like there’s something so powerful and sad about the keldabe between somebody and the helmet of their fallen loved one. Crying rn.
