Fandoms/originals:

- Curse of Strahd - Strahd x Ismark, more or less play out the events of the module, whether Ismark is Tatyana reincarnated, or she is lost and Ismark is pursued as a punishment,

- Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 - Liechntenstein x Samuel - scheming and so on as typical :D, perhaps Wenceslas' rescue,

- Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 - anything Ghost x Soap (I love them so much), Graves x Ghost x Soap prior to the betrayal or in no betrayal!AU, sidenote: also open to König x ? or contemporary original setting recon/sniper OCs,

- Mulan - Mulan x Shan Yu, enemies to friends to lovers AU in which Mulan is found by Shan Yu before she /they can save China,

Please, do run your ideas by me if you have any other ships or plots in mind. I prefer canon x canon, but am open to original characters if you are willing to double. I am also open to AUs and crossovers.

While I love nuanced and realistic historicism in stories, I do not know or expect you to know each and every aspect of it. Vibes (mostly) on point are good enough.

all things covert (recon, infiltration, sabotage, etc.), political intrigue, diplomacy, warfare/military, animals (if meaningful), werewolves, dragons, friendship, intense relationships defying/overlapping categories, hierarchy, devotion/loyalty, trust/betrayal (or vice versa), duty, trauma/mental illness, character psychology, outcasts, morally grey characters, moral ambiguity/amorality (not immorality), religion (depending)/philosophy,

Relationships: almost exclusively M/M, with one NB/M (Mulan) thrown in :D do not have to be limited to conventional relationships, eg. monogamy or allosexual romance.

yesterday in economic botany we were learning about plant based oil compounds and stuff and my botany professor was talking about lynn seed oil, which in woodworking is rubbed on over furniture as a varnish. this oil has an exothermic chemical reaction with oxygen, meaning that the reaction creates heat. what often happens, apparently, is that woodworkers will finish rubbing on the oil with a rag and then will ball up the rag and throw it away, but because the reaction is taking place and the heat can’t escape (like it would on a piece of furniture where it can be cooled) it gets trapped in the rag, which gets hotter and hotter until it reaches the temperature where it bursts into flame. apparently many woodworking shops have been burned down by this. the proper way to dispose of rags with this oil is to hang them up on a clothesline, so again the reaction never gets enough heat to start a fire. im telling you this because im a writer and ive never heard of substance that will just…spontaneously combust conveniently like that so long as it’s in a confined space. my botany professor tried it in a trash can in his driveway and it did indeed burst into flame after 45 minutes, which is an exceptionally convenient time delay. im sorry im tying this so fast my laptop is on 2% battery and theres no outlet an

The thing about Lord/Knight gay romance is that there’s no way you can cut it that doesn’t make the sex hotter. At a baseline, the Lord is allowing his subject to be his equal partner behind closed doors in a society defined by hierarchy their physical love a blaspheme against the laws of feudalism, but if the knight is dominant, they’re literally upending the fabric of society by having the Lord follow his Knight’s orders and that’s hot and if the Lord is dominant than it’s just another expression of his Knight’s sworn devotion to be at his lord’s service at all times and that’s hot and if it’s historically accurate Christianity then they’re not only desecrating and perverting the Knight’s vow, they’re making sinners of each other in the process and that’s HOT
