I’m trying to live this “normal” life that is just not fulfilling me. Get a good job, work all day, and then pay rent. And I am overwhelmed with sadness every night when I lie awake in bed, because I know I’m not doing what I was meant to do. Am I the only one? If this is supposed to make me happy, why do I feel so empty and sad?

I’ll be honest with you. I’m a little bit of a loner. It’s been a big part of my maturing process to learn to allow people to support me. I tend to be very self-reliant and private. And I have this history of wanting to work things out on my own and protect people from what’s going on with me.
