Behold the simple beauty Klaves has laid down for us. You cannot help but to smile to this track. After a brief absence the smooth, melodic, polish beat mastermind has released "Return" with a premier from XLR8R.

It's officially released as of this point, so there really is no excuse for a person such as yourself to not have heard the 'Solstice EP' in full. Four tracks long, but an encyclopedia's worth of textures and sensory exploration; an EP for the masses. Nautiluss has risen expediently to a prolific standing, holding the titles for skilled DJ and profound producer alike.
This release for 'Audio Culture' is an experience like no other. I can't count how many times the title track has blared from a pair of headphones or desk speakers within the past three days. Nautiluss has orchestrated an epic beyond all standards - one that supersedes the norms. The song in whole, takes it's time to develop and span out it's melodies. When it hit's critical mass, what unfolds is an audible sensation of optimism and motivational hysteria. A favorite of this year without a doubt, and not a moment too late.
Purchase Nautiluss' 'Solstice EP' via Surus. Hats off to him and Audio Culture.
Discovery started as a party series out of NYC circa 2009, and although their parties still provide a breath of fresh air to New York night life, they also have become a budding label appropriately titled Discovery Recordings. Now six releases in, with more to come, the Brooklyn based label shows no sign of slowing. 'Discovery 05' featured the debut of Catamaran to the label, an NYC resident whose clever use of samples and jackin' foundation made 'Gymnasium' a summer favorite. Catamaran's mix for Life Crushed features a curation of tracks that range far and wide but remain consistent in the theme of house and disco vibes.
Definitely standing out as a more optimistic label, Catamaran serves as an ambassador of Discovery Recording’s assumed vision, featuring 45 minutes of undiluted, feel-good melodies. A head-trip to say the least - it is a privilege to work with an artist and a label of this caliber and aesthetic. We look forward to the future of Catamaran and Discovery Recordings.

EVER WONDER WHAT IT FEELS LIKE TO GET KNUCKLE GUNNED IN THE EAR DRUM BY ALL TIME KUNG-FU MASTER BRUCE LEE? NO? Well then this isn't the track for you buddy.
For those of you left, I have carefully outlined special instructions on proceeding:
1. Crank monitors to full assault mode; a hair past the onslaught dial marker. (If your audio arsenal isn't supplied this setting, full power will do. Amateur.)
2. Remove useless articles of clothing. WE WON'T BE NEEDING THOSE WHERE WE'RE GOING.
3. Press play and DANCE AROUND THE ROOM AS THOUGH THE FLOOR IS MADE OF A THOUSAND ANTS. Or you know, however many ants your floor may need to fill.
...
JUST PRETEND YOUR FLOOR IS COVERED IN ANTS! OooOOo, so many ants.
Afterwards buy this; head to nearest club; and MELT FACES RAIDERS STYLE.
Kowton, Julio Bashmore - Mirror Song (Techno Remix)
Jacking drum machine techno w/ some gnarly flanger cymbals and a dope Bashmore vocal sample. 120 BPM
GPH20 is classic Mike Parker. Our favorite off the release, Full Moon in Winter, crashes in with an immense off-kilter pulsating synth/bass line and alters it for the duration of the track. Super hard track. Vanadis is more cold rhythmic ambient, Vanadium is heavy dark techno. All excellent tracks.
Mike Parker will soon be at The Monkey Loft in Seattle.
Jesse Siminski is Heatthrob and record boss at his new label ISNISNT. Dude is from northern Michigan, and as you can see this track packs serious heat. Point Blank music school (London) did an interview/feature on him recently, check it out.
