having 2a-2b wavy hair sucks ngl, my hair is too wavy to be straight & too straight to be wavy if that makes sense. I don’t understand why my natural hair texture is wavy... I’m literally chinese (from the south part of china) & everybody there got straight hair & I don’t ??????? I doubt I’m even mixed at all. sure, wavy hair looks good. but my waves are so asymmetrical & it’s painfully obvious. and when it’s unstyled, it’s considered “messy”. it bugs me alot because unstyled straight hair never receives comments like that. I wished I had natural pin straight hair because it’s easy to maintain & looks good even if you don’t bother styling it, just comb it lol.

of course, straightening my hair is an option. but every time I fry my bloody hair with the straightener on high heat, the waves will always fight back to its natural state within few hours if I don’t use an absurd amount ton of hairspray. and when I straighten it, it becomes poofy as hell, I literally cannot stand the unwanted volume !!! (つ﹏<)

I’m seriously considering hair rebond (basically the opposite of a perm, making your hair pin straight and flat). idc if I lose the volume, it’s a lot of work to deal with all that. I just want to experience how it’s like to have pin straight hair… haha should I just save my money for it...
