Quinoa beet and roasted chickpea salad for lunch today! Roasted chickpeas and brocolli with paprika • spinach • fresh green beans • quinoa beet and corn warm salad • dressing: little tamari • lemon • whole grain mustard • maple syrup • coconut sugar Warm quinoa salad: beets roasted in( maple syrup and tamari) • tamari and garlic powder on quinoa I want to talk about something I hear far two often from people who consume meat daily. They always ask why are we not designed to eat meat if we have canines. This is an excuse and a defense mechanism from meat eaters that want to justify their means. First and foremost, if you must look up photos for what I say, animal canines are much different than ours. The argument is invalid because we cannot eat meat the way "animals" do. We are unable to chase, catch, bite into the flesh of an alive animal as it struggles to try to escape. We cannot tear of pieces and swallow it because our digestive system does not have enough acid to process this meat. Humans chose meat that has been caught, killed, cleaned, processed, cooked, preserved and packaged. By no means do we actually use are canines in the way actual animals do! Further, canine teeth do not mean we need to or have the ability to eat meat, or any animal for that matter. For example, Gorillas! They are herbivorous- mountain gorillas eat a diet of leaves, steams, shoots as well as a small amount of fruit. Whereas lowlands eat more fruits. These animals have huge canines that are most definitely not used to eat meat. Identifying a physical attribute for the means to do something harmful is certainly not morally right. As humans, we are actually physically incapable of doing any form of violence. We have been programmed to be oblivious and asleep to the repercussions of our newly created nature. Most Americans, almost all, are not awake and won't even take the time to become some. Look at the facts! The true facts! We are not designed to eat meat or any animal products! Educate yourself!
