He ulta I was just in must have gotten a mad shipment of stuff because they had a TON of naked palletes out and the whole frickin stack had no anything.
Iām 10/10 thinking of throwing a wig on and carefully timing so I can just throw em in my bag and leave cause likeeeee hello
Ulta tips?
Like honestly I used to be scared shitless of ulta. Just took some time for me to get comfortable. Highly recommend:
1. Just get to know ultra. Stop in a bunch of different ones and just walk around so you become familiar with other shoppers habits in there and SA habits.
2. TAKE NOTES. Some stores have those fancy new cameras. Some have cheapo ass old ones that legit do not work. Some have security guards some donāt. I honestly prefer ones with security guards (so far) because at least at the ones Iāve been to they are the only form of LP so if I know where they are itās all good.
3. Take note of what bag and style of existence you are dressed as for each trip to each one. Have an existence youāre pretending to be. If youāre planning to purchase, make a fake account like a little while before you go.
4. Go in with a question planned. Have some idea of something to say. I like to ask about X product I know they donāt have or about a certain size I know they donāt have. Then act sad and wander.
5. Although most of the good stuff tends to be on the tip top of displays, the stuff on the lower shelves is the easiest. Bending and squating is the easiest to just slide something in your bag, especially if you have a rain coat or blazer or something too. Donāt look around before you conceal. Just be aware of who is where
6. Look up a stores reviews on yelp before you go. See if thereās complaints about being followed, etc. cause those stores are honestly my fav cause they donāt want any more bad stops so theyāre hesitant.
7. Honestly goes for all stores, but just google the store name and the location and shoplifting. See what police blotters, etc. come up. Gives you an idea of how active they are.
8. See if they are hiring LP! Also, legit do for every store. Letās you know when they are weak.
9. I like to wear some sort of band under my shirt so I can stuff lipsticks and shit there too if the concealing method will be more natural in the moment.
10. Be confident. Honestly this is key.
And finally I guess call them out if one Sa is following you. ask to talk to a manager, etc. cause itāll be so bad for them.
