When a student answers a question in class and it isn't the correct answer I always point out what is right about the answer then tell the rest of my students we need to build off "student X's" answer.

Without fail that student will raise their hand more often to participate in class.

My special snowflake school had two homecomming queens.

There were only 3 female candidates… like wth

We had our homecoming game last night. Student’s dont vote. We have one candidate from each class only. The candidates setup tables for breakfast and lunch and sell food and meals they prepare with help of course. Whoever sells the most and makes the most money is homecoming queen.

The money raised goes into an account for each class freshman sophomore etc.. and is used to pay for homecoming their senior year and a huge catered meal their last day of high school their senior year.
