Chronic illnesses are defined broadly as conditions that last 1 year or more and require ongoing medical attention or limit activities of daily living or both.

As a person with multiple chronic illnesses, I have used writing as a way to cope with them. In posting them, I have realized that I am not alone. This masterlist is just for various chronic illness fics that I have written. Some of the conditions are my own and some are not. 

Please be kind and considerate when reading them because everyone experiences illnesses differently. Just because it’s written in a way you don’t experience it, doesn’t mean it is wrong.

I hope you enjoy them and feel a little less alone.

As we approach the final days of summer, the local fennypig population has reached its most vibrant form, in what must be one last hurrah for warm weather and flowers.
