this is actually my favorite tvb series. everyone NEEDS to watch it. after reading the plot a little i was like, "nope, so not gonna watch this, sounds like some draggy pointless love/family series". but after awhile, i just couldn't resist but to start on this drama because my fave actor and actress (ruco and linda) are paired up in this series!! i completed this 31 episode series in less than a week. this wasn't draggy at all and i loved the romance between ruco and linda (no doubt), the love triangle between louis, kristal and edwin and of course, the "bromance" between edwin and ruco. planning to watch this again soon!!

i only watched this eight years after it was produced but i fell in love with this series and watched it twice in a year. unlike popular opinion, i really loved flora chan's character in this series and i found her so charismatic. i totally shipped her with francis ng and i was bawling my eyes out during the finale because they didn't end up together. i really liked how meaningful this series is, unlike the sequel, as this one talks a lot about fate and the triangel and all. the original casts (including f4) are way better than the sequel's i solemnly swear.
