So Uhm, they called again.

This time however I wanted to do a little design challenge (kinda eh). Draw them as if I had designed them for my own magical girl project called Light Warriors. I essential wanted to take some aspects of their original designs and make them into a team (kinda?) Unikitty, Mayhem and Watevera are the ones who actually are in the team with the matching heart motif, while Lucy just kinda hangs around them. She was 100% dragged into it and stuck around cus “eh, why not?”

I’ve also had a slight think on how their powers would operate in the universe and very short summary.

Within the universe of Light Warriors you either are born with, develop later or are gifted with magic. This magic usually manifests itself as heightened abilities (like super speed or super strength) combined with magic that does spells and shi. And within magic casting there’s a few categories.

1. Spells (regular spells, the base for any magic user)

2. Emotionally charged magic (the more emotion you feel, the stronger you are)

3. Creational magic (you create shi)

4. Attuned magic (you have special connections with items/ weapons that you channel your magic through)

All of these can overlap with each other.

So after all of that.

Lucy has creational and attuned magic. As she mostly makes melee weapons to fight with.

Unikitty is emotional and creational, the explanation is pretty obvious.

Mayhem is attuned, specially to her space tech.

Watevra is creational of personhood, aka she can shapeshift. You create your own body.

Thought this would be a fun little thing to you. If y’all want I can try to do the guys as well but it’s a more difficult to design magical girl men than women. Anyways thanks for coming to my Ted talk

Sup fuckers I'm back (unit hand in was just done and almost killed me and my hand lmao). So as I said more Light Warriors designs! Some of the guys edition. Here we have Emmet Benny, Rex and Batman. (I was gonna have Metalbeard here as well but I'm not smart enough to come up with something for him).

Either way, if you need some kind of reminder on how the magic system kinda works that was explained in the last post. But now, LORE!

Emmet: Creational, his magic manifests itself at gloves that makes it easier for him to build and destroy things. But they can be removed should need be.

Benny: Creational and he specializes in vehicles. While I don't really have much in sense of magic, I decided to change his lore a bit. He and Metal Beard were part of the same space crew but when they went into hyper speed to travel across a wide area something went wrong and they ended up stranded in the in-between. (It's a sub plane part of something called the Dimensional Gateway, aka a big tunnel system that spans across the universe, making it easier for people to travel). While there he lost contact with his crew and he saw something he shouldn't have. He doesn't remember much but all he knows is that something is coming, something dangerous. And this clashes a lot with his really hyperactive personality.

Rex: Emmets twin (wow mister big idea over here) and his magic is mostly corrupted emotional magic. The more he represses the stronger he is.

Batman: Attuned weapons (aka gadgets). Infinite bat-arangs and hooks. He doesn't really have a magical form like the others.

I had a pretty fun time with these. I really enjoyed yassifying Batman and I made Rex into toxic masculinity man. As I said I think it's really difficult to make magical outfits for men and I can tell there is a big difference in how I designed these and the girls.

But yeah, maybe I can start doing more lore with them in this cus it would be kinda fun :3
