More about my yumeshipping
I'm an adult (mid 20s), surely selfshipping existed in my teens, but I only recently got into as a coping mechanism. Basically, I have a lot of mental health issues, I can't say "I love myself" and actually believe it, I have a hard time seeing myself as anything other than a waste of space who should never have been born. I also mask around almost everyone, I feel like I'm a burden unless I mask properly. But I can't be a burden on fictional characters who aren't real. I can believe that they love me and that's almost like self-love.
All of this to say, I don't treat my yumeships as real life relationships. I have an IRL partner. He doesn't know about my yumeships. Which I know a lot of people think is wrong, and that's fine, I keep doing it because it doesn't affect my relationship at all, since I don't treat them as real relationships, I treat them as comfort characters or something.
As far as lore goes, none of my yumeships have fixed lore, it's more a lot of completely different ideas, so I have a bunch of different headcanons and AUs for my F/O's. They're heavily headcanoned either way, I don't follow canon strictly.
I don't have a yumesona or an OC, since the whole thing with this is self-love, I use myself in all of my yumeship imagines. The closest thing to a yumesona I have is that Sheila isn't my real name, but it's the name I always use when talking about my yumeships online, so I kind of associate it with my F/O's now.
That's all I can think of right now. I get a new F/O every now and then, I'll keep the list updated.
usually stoic f/o who gets cuteness aggression because of you but doesn't know what to do with it. you're sitting together, just casually leaning on each other while you watch some show, and all of sudden they're biting your face. not hard, just enough to gently hold the flesh of your cheek between their teeth.
that is, until they realize what they're doing and sheepishly release their jaw, pretending as if nothing happened. but their avoidant eyes and slight flush tells you all you need to know.
I found this drawing of Grievous and baby Gor 🥹 I can't it's so cute, look at the way he looks at Gor 🥺🥺🥺🥺 poor Gor 😭 Grievous loved him, you could hear the sadness in his voice when he saw that he died. Though it was kinda stupid of him to send Gor to fight Jedi. I'm sorry I don't know who the artist is
Making my first post here on Tumblr, starting out with some Darth Maul fanart because he’s my favorite Sith Lord! I made this digital painting right after I finished watching Maul Shadow Lord bc I honestly loved it so much 😩😩🤌 The animation, the dialogue, the fight scenes, and the voice acting were absolutely phenomenal. I have no other words just.. chef’s kiss 😩👌

Your F/o doesn't see you as a burden. They understand you have support needs and are always there to assist with them. Be it them pushing your wheelchair, helping you take your meds, or assisting you with your daily grooming. Your needs matter to f/o.

nothing better than aggressively loving a doomed-by-the-narrative f/o.
oh, the plot says you'll never receive the happiness you deserve? that's too bad. we're in a loving relationship now. i'm gonna spend every day reminding you how perfect you are. we're gonna grow old together. sorry not sorry.
Yeah... Pretty much all of them. Morpheus canonically dies. Oh well no he's happy with me. Aaravos' ending is unclear but last we saw him he's evil and unhappy. No, he's with me. Grievous is canonically a caricature villain who dies of a blaster. He's not, he stops being insane and is happy with me. Tasha doesn't die of evil black slime monster, she's happy with me. Worf isn't narrative-doomed and I guess Corinthian is first and then isn't later, so he's half an exception, Worf is the only full exception
Your f/o would not expect perfection or unrealistic standards from you. At the end of the day, the thing they'd like the most is for you to be happy, for you to be yourself, even if it takes time.
