this has kind of nothing to do with writing but i've been thinking of moving to sweden a lot lately and i kinda want to know someone's view of the country, i understand u are from there!
Oh hi â€ïž
Sorry for my late reply.
Yes, I live in Stockholm. And it depends. Sweden definitely itâs not for everyone.
Winters are dark and heavy, and if youâre not used to this type of weather, it can affect you pretty badly. Seasonal depression is a big thing here. And itâs not just the weather, people tend to be cold too. I think itâs in our nature, (although Iâm not like that, or at least thatâs what I keep hearing from my foreign friends, haha).
People are not rude to you, but they donât really form deep connections, itâs more superficial. Summers are long and beautiful. We have the âmidnight sun,â which is lovely. Thereâs a lot of beautiful nature and many nice places.
The healthcare system is quite good. As for the job market, it depends a lot on your profession. It can be hard to find a job, but again, it really depends on your career. In terms of safety, itâs a pretty safe country compared to others.
Overall, itâs not bad, but if you really want to move here, think about these things. I have friends who move back home during the winter because it can be that hard. Socially, it can be a bit tough too. Otherwise, itâs a place that can really help you grow, with a lot of opportunities.
I donât know what else to add. If you have any specific questions, I can answer them.
Take care â€ïž
Halloj mina Àlskade,
I know, I know, Iâve been M.I.A. for a while. A lot of personal things changed, but Iâm back. And for those asking about stories, I see you. Iâm working on it.
Love you all â€ïž
P.S. Iâm here now so feel free to message/ask me anything you want â€ïž

Okay, yesâbut he looked hot while doing it.

I want to be an actress but at the same time itâs hard af and my country sucks at this chapter đ thatâs why I need a backup plan. Thank u for being kind!! đđ
Oh, thatâs so nice! As long as youâre really passionate about something, why not go for it? I remember back in high school, I kind of âdabbledâ in acting myself. Iâve always had a big imagination, as you can see đ. And for a while, I actually did some acting too. I even wrote a whole play for the school theater, and we performed it during the school celebration days(looking back at it, i am actually proud of it, i wrote the script although I had some help here, directing, acting, choosing the âcastâ everything). Hahaha, such good times⊠I still have a copy of the script at home, can you believe it? After all these yearsâŠ
When Stellan started teaching acting classes at the theater, I even thought about showing up đ but honestly? Iâve always seen it more as a hobby, and if youâre not fully committed, itâs not really worth it.
Anyway, you should definitely give it a try if itâs something you truly want with all your heart. And yeah, in the art world, having a backup plan is always a smart move đ
Thank you for your questions â€ïž

Iâm bored and I donât have gossips anymore. Whatâs going on in Sweden rn?
Hahaha, nothing much. Excluding Alexâs latest project, which has everyone talking đ also itâs a pretty busy period for me so no time forâŠpretty much nothing. Thank you for your question â€ïž
Hello! I hope you are okay and well! I donât want to be nasty but can I ask u what you work? This year Iâm finishing high school and I still donât know what to do. Itâs so hard and depressing honestly.
Hey hey,
Sorry for my late reply⊠I work in marketing, and honestly, it took me a few years to get here. To figure out what I truly want to do, so donât rush. If you donât know exactly what you like yet, you have time. â€ïž
