Theon’s eyes shut with the kiss. There was a small smile on his face in answer, utterly unbidden and surprisingly soft. He didn’t expect the kiss, but he liked it. Even though she’d bruised his cheek, he honestly didn’t mind. He liked her, liked her company, liked the sheer way of her. He found himself, for an odd moment, considering what it may be like the court her. Others take him, but he did like the idea. Taking her away from it all.

He obediently turned around, in spite of the odd desire to watch. He’d respect her, she had earned it. He found he wanted to please her, in fact. He licked his lips, and considered as he listened to her climb, the rustle of clothes. He reached up to scratch at his chin.

“You’re - staying for some time, aren’t you?” He asked, trying to make the ask casual. “There should be plenty of time, really. You’re not needed for the discussions, and Lord Eddard has little need of me interfering in such business.” His words dangled there in the air. “I should like to be with you often, should you have me. You’re far better company than Rickon.”

It took her a few minutes though she was able to dress again. It was cold now and she wanted nothing more than to get back into the warmth of the hot spring. She knew that if she was gone much longer though one of her brothers would notice. If they were caught by her brothers the poor boy would be dead but if they were caught by someone else her reputation was ruined so either way, she needed to leave.

“Yes, we will stay for some time especially if the king gets his way and Joffrey starts to court Lady Sansa.” She tells him before she looks back. “I hear much of what goes on through my brother they hear it all.” She explains as if it even matters.

Shennen smiles as she looks to Theon. “I would like to be with you often as well. You would make far better company than anyone we brought with us. When should we meet again?”

“I’d catch him on a day such as that when he’s quite a lot to say,” Theon agreed as he looked at her. There was a playfulness in his gaze, but beyond that an understanding. He knew what it meant to be kept, and to be beaten. He knew what it meant to be trapped like an animal in a cage. He found his fondness for the girl only grew, and that was a curious thing.

He could have gathered her up in his arms then, pressed a fierce kiss to her lips and claimed her. He could have, but he didn’t. There was an odd shyness in his chest, soft as the flutter of a sparrow’s wings. He was unaccustomed to it. He was unaccustomed to much of what he experienced this day.

“They’ll need you back soon,” he mused quietly. “But would you still wish to see me? While you are here, of course..”

“I suppose they will want me back soon. “ She agrees, feeling slightly sad at the notion. Shennen did not want to go back when she could be here with him. She had not expected that at all when she first saw him.

She smiles at him for a moment before she nods. “I would like to see you again while I am still here. We shall plan a time to meet again.” She moves closer to him she presses a kiss to his cheek, chaste and meant to be sweet. She is sure that he has not had a lot of sweet but she will give him that now because he deserves it for being so kind to her.

“Now turn around so I can get out and dress again. I mean it, you cannot look or I will send my brothers after you.” Shennen insists before moving back to her side of the hot spring. She waits for him to turn around before she gets up and hides away to dress.

HARRAS SUPPOSES THERE IS NO WAY TO UNDERSTAND for he ( did not ) ever have siblings, and rodrik had died in battle. but the words she speaks of the dragon have a grin slipping onto his face. “ i heard a dragon was injured in battle —- anything that can be hurt can die. ” that, and he does not plan on letting anything that ( frightens him ) as much as the prospect of fire-breathing lizards can’t live nearly live long. he simply wouldn’t have it. “ i wonder if they act like those ancient legends, if i kill the targaryen will the dragons die too ? ”

“you will need something rather large to kill it- i hope that you can find that.” shennen tells him. perhaps that was true but she had seen many things hurt that just kept coming back for more. her brother was the best example of that brought from death back again and he was but a man, not a dragon. “she will hard to get to the dragons are like her children are they not? children will do anything to see their mother safe.”

This woman, she looked dressed fairly nice, but Nott wasn’t a great judge of how fancy people were just from looking at them. She lowered her voice. “Do you think she’d notice if someone slept in their kennels for a night?” Nott asked. The Westerlands didn’t seem to have much of a homeless problem, but Nott didn’t want to get killed for sleeping in a dog bed so she could be inside walls for one night as she was passing through.

“That is what I hear in the whispers of rumors.” Shennen agrees with a small nod. She shakes her head moving for the woman to follow her. “Of course not- I am sure she would also not notice if I fed you. Can I get you something to eat and perhaps to drink?” She can at least take care of this girl without showing who she truly was. “The dog keeper will not be in until late tomorrow so you will have plenty of time.”

Shennen’s attentions were calming, each pass of the brush leaving behind a sense of contentment. She had always enjoyed having her hair brushed, never really caring who did it, but she found a greater joy when the Clegane girl took up the task. “Do not apologize for merely speaking, Shennen. You know well that I enjoy our conversations.” She turned her head so she was just able to make eye contact with the other girl. “Lord Tarly and his son will arrive today and I’ll be expected to help greet and host them. Father denies it but I know they mean to negotiate a betrothal of sorts.” She rolls her eyes. “Grandmother will set him straight soon enough.”

“I enjoy our conversations as well, Kady Margaery.” Shennen agrees before she starts to brush Margaery’s hair again. She enjoys this task loving that they can be close and have quiet conversations together. Not many people want to speak to a Clegane knowing their families history but Lady Margaery always spoke to her and it was genuine conversation which she adored. “Lord Tarly? Surely his son would not be dreadful to be betrothed to. I have not heard bad things about him.” She offers before she smiles as Margaery rolls her eyes. “I am sure your Grandmother will.”

“That is a relief to hear I quite enjoy having someone i can talk with.” Shennen agrees with a small smile. She likes her bracelet the beautiful colors of his house and her own shown in it which she enjoys. “Well, I am sure that will be nice.”

For a moment, Nott was terrified by the reaction. Was her spell not working? She shouldn’t look that frightening. She’d taken on the appearance of a rather short human woman- barely cracking four feet was the most she could do when she was in reality only three feet tall. But then the girl smiled. It was fine.

Nott hadn’t been in Westeros for very long but had already been graced with the company of some of the worst in the land, but they paled in comparison to what she had heard about Gregor Clegane. “Clegane’s Keep?” Nott echoed. “The Cleganes are from here?”

“Yes this is Cleganes Keep,” Shennen tells her with a nod. She wonders where this woman could think she was as many knew the keep. Most of them knew it because they tried to stay far away from it. “Only the lady of the house- her brothers are both away in the capital.” She explains. She does not know who this woman is or what she wants so perhaps she should not let it be known she is the lady of the house just yet.
