✉️ ˚୨୧⋆｡˚ valko and the sounds he makes

valko isn't a dog, but he definitely sounds like one. you'll wake up in the mornings, his arm heavy around your waist. you always think he's asleep, but as soon as you try to leave the bed, he'll whine. a soft, high-pitched sound that escapes from his throat as he pulls you flush against him.

it doesn't end there. sometimes, the two of you will be enjoying a movie. you're on the couch, and he's sat on the floor, back between your legs. your hand will unconsciously drift towards his head until you're scratching behind his ears. valko does his best to keep his cool. he really does. but when your hands are so gently massaging the crook where his head meets his ears? oh, he's gone. valko will moan before you even register what you're doing, and all of a sudden, he'll have you on your back as his broad frame engulfs you from above and the movie becomes background noise.

valko will be extra careful about these kinds of things in public. but when you wander off at a company party, and he finds you by the bar with another man attempting to flirt by standing severely too close to you, he can't help it. valko approaches like a predator. he places his arm on your lower back, almost too low, and greets the man with a growl. the message is clear.

his possessiveness doesn't fool you though. at the end of the day, he'll come home saying he missed you. no, he needed you. and when he leans in to steal a kiss from your lips, you'll tug him back by his hair. his ears will twitch in desperation, and his tail will flail helplessly. valko whimpers when you make him ask for it. and you drink it up when your lips meet his.

valko, on the other hand, while he oozes charisma and sex appeal, i like to think he’s actually a bit of a shy boy in front of the love of his life.

this big bad wolfie is all bark and zero bite (well, unless you ask nicely!). all that experience and easy charm he has go flying out the window when you’re close.

you sneak your hand into his while the two of you are walking on your date. he almost jumps three feet into the air, but then he quickly collects himself and his signature smirk is back before he’s swinging your joined hands back and forth, a skip in his step.

“can i try yours?” you ask, eyeing his plate at the restaurant he’s taken you to.

“of course baby, whatever you want,” and then he moves to slide his food over so it’s closer to you, but then you grab his wrist to maneuver his fork into your mouth.

“yum!” you squeal, still chewing before you go back to your own entree, not realizing valko’s red all the way up to his ears. “wanna try mine?”

you put your own fork out, saying “ahhh” to prompt him to open his mouth. he’s just blinking at you like—

brb, brain.exe has stopped working.

then later, at the mall, you drag your poor boyfriend around from store to store and he’s carrying all your bags. but then you get to the perfume section of a department store.

“pick for me?”

“me?” then he’s grinning, suppressing the urge to let his tail pop out and start wagging it like crazy.

“yeah, i want you to like my scent,” and then you’re leaning against his shoulder and he wants to scream he loves you so much. he loves your natural scent already, but the fact you’re asking this of him makes him so freaking happy.

and you try one he picks out, spritz it on, and he gets adorably flustered when you tilt your chin up, allowing him a full view of the column of your throat. “what do you think?”

“baaabe…” he groans into his hands, “you’re killin’ me here.”
