I don’t think I ever did much with how may parallels I saw between Loki and Mobius vs Richard and Elise from the movie “Somewhere In Time” (partly because the movie is from 1980!!!) but I came across these pics on my camera roll and. Well. Hmmng. I need to put the people involved in this show on a slide and study them under a microscope. In a dish and culture them. Grind them up and reconstitute them.

I mean, seriously now. There’s “period accurate costuming” wherein one can argue that this is coincidence, and then there’s “uncannily similar to a popular romantic time-travel movie that has a running gag about the protagonist wearing a period-inaccurate costume” as to which I assert that Loki’s outfit was an homage.
