Cover art for my debut novel

A lot of you know me for my smutty modern au fanfics, but I spent a manic six weeks last year writing the first draft of an original romance novel. A year of editing later, here I am, just a couple of months away from publishing the dang thing for real!

While the majority of my fics have been F/M, queer romance is something I am incredibly passionate about since I am, well, a gay dude! Tommy I should hate Rowan Hughes. He was a bully when we were kids, and now I find out he’s messed around with my girlfriend. But how can I hate the campus soccer star when he’s everything I’ve always wanted to be? With my reputation on the line, I can’t let Rowan get away with humiliating me in front of people I know—people we both go to school with. When he swears he didn’t know Annalese was my girlfriend, I actually believe him. When he says I’m good enough to play beside him, I want to believe that too. But when he insists he’s not gay, all I want is to prove him wrong. Rowan I made one dumb decision at a party, and now Tommy Mathison thinks I’m into his girl. He couldn’t be more wrong, but it’s not because I’m gay. It’s because I’m weak. Now I’ve got a beefed-up babyface’s knuckle prints bruising the side of my face, and I can’t get him out of my head. Tommy isn’t weak, and he may just be the missing piece my team needs to win a championship before I go pro. I don’t know why he quit soccer after high school, but getting him back on the field is easy. Keeping him close without losing control? That’s the real challenge.

SWEAT is a spicy M/M college romance in which two soccer players claim to be straight while harboring massive crushes on each other. Trigger warnings include internal and external homophobia and discussions around grief, depression, and past childhood trauma.

hi, I just want to say I'm like deeply in love with Water Me. I used to read it like once every month and I'm doing my annual re-read. I truly think its one of the best smut driven pieces of literature ever written, I don't know if you've ever thought about getting it published professionally but trust, if you ever did I'd be first in line to buy a hardcopy. Oh my gosh thank you so much! That's incredibly kind of you to say. You're making my day 😭❤️ I've played with the idea in my head of publishing a couple of my fics but the conclusion I always come to is that I wrote them as fics and it would feel strange to read/re-produce those stories as anything other than fics. Maybe I'll change my mind someday! It would be really fun, but I know I'd have to change names and some details which could impact the overall feel of the story. Right now, I'm actually working on publishing in the m/m romance space, but eventually I want to pivot to m/f romance professionally and at that time maybe I will revisit taking a couple of my fics and reworking them for publishing purposes. I'm working on so much, who knows what the future holds haha. But thank you for reaching out and being so encouraging. Water Me is so special to me and I feel lucky to be part of the jonerys family 💞
