Let go...
It’s a sign...let them go. I recently had a friend that was toxic af when she dropped me. She claimed that I was a ”Negative“ person. Let me explain. More than a year ago we stopped talking because of COVID-19. She doesn’t have a phone and so I could never contact her. We talked through iPads sometimes but most of the time I was busy and couldn’t talk much. I didn’t want to be rude so I somehow managed to talk to her but they were quick to judge and they took fast and short responses as negative and down. I currently have diagnosed Depression and Anxiety. It gets hard sometimes and nobody understands me. The thing is she never was there for me through these times. Some people were and others weren’t there for me but she couldn’t because somehow it affected her. Whenever I saw her or we FaceTimed through her parent’s phone she seemed her joyful and happy self. She always changed the topic every time I wanted to ask for help. That’s besides the point though. I have nothing against them but I do keep grudges against others even though that’s not good. I slowly learn to let go and heal. She recently came back to school to take our standard exams of the year so of course she talked to me and we were still friends then. We hung out and had some good times. It was until a week ago when she told me that she didn’t want to be friends with me and she blocked me on her secret socials she had (our only private communications). I was hurt because there was literally nothing I did to her and nothing wrong. We had a good talk the couple days ago. I don’t understand why. I was being ”dry” a bit because I was busy but she’s dry all the time and I honestly don’t like dry people in real life. I understand if someone is dry over text but themselves in person. But this girl was never herself. She is manipulative because she makes others believe that she’s really sweet and innocent but in reality she’s not either one. I’m honestly broken and I thought about leaving this world a few times but thankfully the other friends I have were here for me. Not to mention the guy I like. I’ve never actually met someone like him. I just don’t understand how if someone is going through shit and you aren’t there for them and they are feeling off and just wanna rest for a day or two you have to drop/leave them because they don’t stand to your expectations. Like just grow up and do better. We’re about to be in high school this “innocent“ and “sweet” fake personality isn’t going to get you far. Just wait until others find out. I’m not saying anything though. I would never hurt others like that and I never have even though you aren’t the first fake friend I’ve had. So good luck! 😄
