also it goes by so fast but I'm obsessed with Louis talking about how back when the FIRST SINGLE sold out in pre sale when people hadn't heard it yet he realized that people were as or more invested in THEM than in the music and that he could use that, that it meant they could do more interesting things and push what they were, which of course shaped EVERYTHING to come and everything we've always celebrated, Louis as the force behind moving them creatively to being more than just a manufactured generic pop act and there he is talking about the genesis moment of that, that's so important to me personally
