So disappointing - who’d’ve ever thought?” Jubilee scoffed. “There’s just no happy medium is the problem. Well, I guess spring and fall could be, but allergies suck, and everything dies in fall.” She nodded. “I know, I just want the cold to be done and over with. But, I’m also one of those people who will most likely complain about the heat, too - like I said, no happy medium.”

“Well I know I would be if I got woken up earlier then I normally do just so you could see my shadow and take pictures of me so I can kind of relate.”She said,giggling at the image.”Plus,it kinda cold out so obviously he wants to sleep more.”She said,griming.”Well those are both true,I still prefer the medium we have over the extremes. Except my body kinda likes the heat,minus the sweat.”

Though I guess it could go quickly,February is the shortest month after all.”Lila laughed at the other girl ending statement.”Very true,comfy sweaters and hot drinks to make up for a longer winter. Though after having started that trend in October,it’s felt like forever since I’ve worn anything other then leggings and sweaters.”

“Very true but there are radicals around who wouldn’t know a good cup to instant coffee so I forgive their energy drink habit. Oh some history,a bit of business and all the boring freshman classes. I’ve been enjoying it though.”

“I don’t really know how much merit we can put in a groundhog, though…” Jubilee pointed out with a small giggle. “I mean, it’s not like he can really predict the weather. It’s not even always the same groundhog.” She shrugged. “I don’t understand anyone whose favorite season is winter, honestly - the cold is the worst, ice sucks, and snow gets really inconvient after a while.”

“That is a good point,how much do rodents really know about weather patterns?”Lila said,grinning at the other girl. “Gasp! You mean the groundhog isn’t all seeing and immortal?”She said,trying to keep a straight face.”I know! I guess maybe if someone doesn’t like warm weather but still,cold isn’t fun after like a month of it.”

“Darn,he has betrayed us.”Lila said,melodramatically covering her eyes with her hand.”I’m from Germany so I’m a tad more used to Winter but I love all the other seasons a lot more.”

“Yeah, well, height jokes are still funny to some people.” Piper shrugged. “I mean - I thought I was at a college, not back in high school. God knows I’d hate to relive those days.” She chuckled, shaking her head. “’Best days of your life’ my ass.” Piper mumbled. “Eh, as long as you’re not like me, I’m sure you’ll be fine. And by that, I mean actually do your work for all your classes, and don’t fight with professors. But, you don’t look like the type, so you’ll be golden, sunshine - what’re you majoring in?”

“Maybe so but I don’t have any legs to stand on calling other people short,Piper”Lila said,laughing lightly.”Well there’s no account for some people never growing up. Plus I guess going to the same campus as high schoolers would promote that.”Lila replied.”Didn’t have the best high school experience?”She said,hearing the mumble.”Yeah,doing all the work may be boring but it gets the job done. You’ve actually fought with professors? The most I’ve done is send strongly worded emails.”She shrugged lightly at the ending question.”I haven’t decided fully yet but I was thinking business or history would help the most with the kingdom.”

“Don’t tell people I’m on there - they’ll tell you I’m only half a person.” She joked. “They’re a pain in the ass - and much harder than high school. But I mean, they’re optional. You either take them and pass, or don’t and fail.” Piper shrugged “Difference is, you’re paying for these ones.”

“Half a person? You certainly look like a full one to me.”Lila said,giggling.”A pain in the ass is something I can deal with but hopefully their not too bad with enough studying, That’s not so optional,failing out of school isn’t a great thing to bring home.”

“Another thing we agree on.” Mika giggled, then thought about all her favorite kinds of coffee. “It’s really hard to pick just one, because there’s seasonal coffees that I love, and it depends on what time of day and my mood. We also gotta factor in iced coffee and espresso, because those are different that regular coffee.” Mika was rambling at this point, so she stopped herself and thought for a few more seconds. “I guess my go to, when I’m on the run and don’t have to time to think about it, is a white chocolate mocha with raspberry.” 

Lila offered a thumb up to the other girls words and giggle.”I know! I love seasonal coffees but I hate when they leave after the season ends. Plus sometimes you want sweet coffee and sometimes you want coffee strong enough to wake you up. I hadn’t even thought of iced coffee and espresso yet. But Caramel Macchiato is definitely my favourite iced coffee.”She said,eyes getting bit as she listened to the other girls go to order.”Wow,that sounds just so good.”

Reese cracked a smile. “You should talk to my sister, Piper. She’d definitely agree with you…Hmm, maybe I’’ll try that. I don’t want to add too much, though, y’know? I already use milk, water, extra cocoa powder, and mini candy canes…” Reese wasn’t too fond of changing things up - she was a creature of habit, unless she was drunk enough, but she really didn’t want to admit that. “I really like peppermint tea; generally, i’m a big fan of anything peppermint-y. D’you drink tea at all? That must be awful…have you considered like taking vitamins or anything to strengthen your immune system?”

“Oh yeah,that’d be cool. I’m always up to meeting other coffee addicts. Oh yeah,you should like try it at a home first so if you don’t like it you can toss it but I swear it’s probably magic in your mouth. I like cream in my hot chocolate and full candy canes just for the added peppermint. I kinda feel sad about meting baby candy canes down.`Lila admitted.`Peppermint tea is okay but it kinda stings. I prefer chi tea and black tea with milk but most German`s drink coffee more in the morning.`Lila shrugged. ``I`m already on a ton of vitamins and medicine but thanks.``

“I have like a nutritionist and doctors who set my diet to not include a ton of caffeine and stuff when I’m at home.”She said,humming as she read.”Ooh Hazelnut is good but I like salted caramel coffee.Likewise,Sam.”
