Honestly, people generally don’t want much… They want to eat their favorite food. They want to go to the seaside and smell the fresh air. They want to nap on the grass and listen to music. They want to hold their loved ones in their arms, and be held in return. They want warm clothes, be occupied with a profession/a hobby that does not smother them. They want to feel safe and unafraid. Mostly, they want to live without being ridiculed, manipulated or being forced. And this is why capitalism/modern life overall is so upsetting, depressing and even destructive. Because thinking about how small and simple things you yearn for & how hard it is to even be able to have them really wears you off

I rly miss spending time on tumblr I was just thinking about how a little while ago I wanted to check myself into a psychiatric hospital and how frustrating it was that there’s so little information about the process and what it’s like and how much it costs and even just like the names and locations of facilities nearby and I wanted to vent about how that makes no sense bc someone who wants to check into a mental hospital clearly does not have the energy or like mental acuity to call a bunch of different places to see what’s up like the whole process should just be easier and more streamlined and anyway I was gonna tweet about it but this is rly not a subject that I would want the normies who follow me on twt to Know about me so here I am and thank fucking god for this website huh

its soooo funny that all artists ran from tumblr to twitter when even with the shitty nsfw filter implemented tumblr is still vastly superior as a platform for posting art than yknow the website that deep fries your images and then crops them to a tiny rectangle and has no functioning tag system to the point that if someone has a key phrase in their handle all of their posts show up in the search
