“It is! I’m not against Christmas but wow.”Lila said,laughing at the boys next words.”Oh wow,that must have been a tad abrasive.I was doing the same and saw they had faux Christmas trees.I wouldn’t put that to far ahead of the local radio channels to play it on the first of November.”
“Okay,Halloween’s not over yet but I think the stores might not have gotten the memo.”Lila said,she’d been looking for a candy at the local store and they had christmas trees already.”Do you think they play Christmas music the day after?”

“ hmm ? ” piper mumbled, tired eyes gazing up at the person who had approached her ― she gave them a lazy, sheepish smile. “ sorry buddy, you’re gonna have to repeat yourself ‘cause, well … to be quite honest, i’m lacking on sleep, and wasn’t listening to a word you said. ”
“Oh?”Lila blinked a little in surprise before looking at the other girl.”You do appear to be a little more sluggish than normal.”And that was certainly an achievement considering Piper wasn’t the most energetic normally. “Do you want some coffee? A jolt of adrenaline?”She jokes.
I’m such an emotional mess. But a soft one.

I’m doing Thanksgiving tomorrow and hanging with the fam but I’ll be around sometime later in the evening to my reply from Lila to rhea and do dot’s replies.

“Oh yeah. She’s a total diva. Loves dressing up and showing off what my mom buys here. She’s all about the attention.” Ferris continued to scratch the dog’s chin as he spoke. “When I was really little yeah - my mom put all the animals and I costumes. She’s even more nuts about halloween than Pru.”
“Aww,that’s so cool.I bet she’s just the loveliest dog in her different outfits. Is she the kind of dog that veers towards people for pats? Because I love petting enthusiastic dogs.”Lila said,looking at the pretty dog by her feet.”Omg,did she take pictures of you all? Also that’s hard to imagine.”

“Were you born a twin?” Wilson was suddenly curious. “But yeah, I can duplicate myself. My counterparts definitely operate on their own.” He laughed a little to himself. “They are-” He stopped for a second, “Very much their own, uh-” Wilson stopped to think of the right word to use, “Beings.”
“Yes! I totally was. I have a twin brother who's a whole five minutes younger then me.”Lila said,grinning as she listened to the boy explain his power to her. It sounded so cool,way more active than plant manipulation.”Wow,that’s just amazing. Do you learn what they learn when you recall them? Or however you end the the duplication.”
“Have I ever told you about the time I used my powers to get into the National Twin convention?” Wilson smiled as he remembered. “Now, that was some of my best work.”
“Well that’s one way to go about it,if you're not cool enough to be born a twin.”Lila joked,she could just picture it.”Can you clone yourself and make them operate autonomously? Because wow.”
“Oh yeah. Halloween is Pru’s favorite holiday. She’s probably the only dog her size that actually likes putting on clothes. I have no idea what she’s going to go as this year, though. Usually my mom picks it all out.” Ferris stated, scratching the dog’s chin as she laid upside down on his lap. The two were rarely apart now that Prudence was staying in WDA with Ferris. They were best friends for sure. “We’ll probably find some sort of joint costume, I think.”
“Aww,that’s so sweet. I think she’d look super cute in a costume,though you are right about dogs her size. Does she like putting on coats and sweaters as well when it get’s chilly?”Lila asked,cooing at the adorable dog.”Oh really? Have you done that with her before?”

“You’ll probably be one of the lucky ones who never finds a grey hair, ‘til one day you wake up to a whole head of ‘em. Which sounds awful, I know– but I think a total change would be way easier to deal with than one at a time. Sorta like you’re ripping the grey hair bandaid off,” she chuckled, then, giving a happy little nod, “More sleep? Can do. I can up my hours by at least double, but I could up ‘em even more if I disowned my sister.” Ah, yes. She who burst into her room early every other morning, just because she was up and so, everyone else had to be, too. If Rhea was lacking sleep she’d have blamed Stephanie, but she got a solid seven hours every night, so… “Oh, hey!– You don’t have to get me anything, ever. Honestly–” she had to get that out of the way first; sure, she’d happily get a gift for Lila when the time came, but she always felt awake about receiving gifts from others, “My older sister, Meghan– I’m not sure if you’ve met her?– got me two kittens. Their names are Joey and Chandler, and they’re now a part of my huge, whacky family.” It was obvious that she was overjoyed with them– thinking to her new additions brought an even bigger smile to Rhea’s lips, and she was already thinking about when was the appropriate time to show the other pictures. “Perfect! If you want, we can even do the whole finding-a-costume thing together, too! I mean. We don’t have to, obviously, but… if you wanted to, we could go shopping together.”
“Ohh! Well now that would be a shock,but it’d be efficient. No needing to worry if you got a grey at once. I’d heard some people actually like pluck their grey hair,which is a no for me.”Lila said,grinning as she chatted with the other girl.”By double? What is that,12 hours? Now that would be a great sleep. Disown your sister,hmm. I take it that she’s a morning person?”She asked,she’d met Stephanie a time or two but not a lot about her other than surface.”Oh pssh,I would love to get you a present,if your were fine with it.”Lila liked giving her friends presents,especially for christmas and birthdays.Though she was known for random presents as well.
”I don’t believe we made an acquaintance,yet.That is a very nice present,though. So you have two rats.two kittens,a dog and that’s the end?Because I am so envious. I only have Sir Snuggles,my white norwegian forest cat. Though to be fair to Sir Snuggles,he is the size of two cats.”Lila said,grinning about her giant cat.”Oh that would be brilliant! I’m always up to shopping for costumes and you seem like you’d be cool to look with.”
So I literally turned into a ghost last week but hey,it’s was my 2 year anniversary since I first picked up Dot. Which is fantastic.

“don’t worry, i’ll hold it for you!” avery called out, stepping up to push his arm in the way of the closing elevator door. he pushed it back a bit and watched as the automatic sensors kicked in and it slowly slid back. “man, i hate it when the doors start to close and no one does anything,” he said, smiling that bright, welcoming smile of his at his new company. “so i always try and keep it open if i see someone coming!” he added, wanting to add a positive twist to his previously negative statement. “anyways, what floor are you going to?”
“Oh thank goodness!”Lila hustled closer to the elevator,her arms full of a coffee cup and her bag.She’d been in a hurry after waking up late so her hair was in a lopsided ponytail.”I do too,it’s not like it’s such a hassle if you hold it a minute.I especially hate when people hit the close button when they see somebody coming.”She replied as she got onto the elevator,smiling at the boy with a bright smile.”Wow,that’s great of you.I’m happy enough to take you up on your generosity.”She gently joked.”I’m going to the fourth floor,please and thank you.”

“Oh yeah, I’m always nervous for the first day of school. My old school wasn’t exactly the best. But I know WDA is going to be awesome. I’ve only been here three months and it’s miles ahead of Westmore High.”
“Me too,well now that I actually go to a school and am not castle schooled.”Lila joked,smiling at the boy.”Well I’m glad you’ve come to WDA then,if your old school was horrible. I really think you’ll enjoy the class part of WDa,the teachers here are very good at their jobs.”
