New project of mine! What is it? Well describing it somehow feels like betraying the themes, so all I’ll say is that Mai (pronounced May) is a character, a self aware drawing, which will respond to being talked to or not being seen by real people (like you! (or at least I hope you’re real…))

Frankly I can’t tell much more, I have no idea what she and her story will be like tomorrow and maybe that’s the point.

Just finished a class to learn how to make comics and we had to imagine a story for our big project. So I said I wanted to make a slice of life but when someone asked what that was the teach responded "yk the boring stuff"…so now I’m imagining a psychological horror ig

So I ended up with a story highly inspired by Omori and Yume Nikki. Except I want to also touch on maladaptive daydreaming and have (True) Bonnie not be completely isolated and look constantly numb. I still don’t know how much of my own experience I feel comfortable putting into this story but I really want to make something honest and hopefully uplifting and validating in the end.

I think most of the horror aspects are going to be put on Night(or Sleep) Bonnie, Daydream Bonnie is going to be mostly whimsy and comfort, and (True) Bonnie will just be my precious slice of life moments <3 (just more depressing :’D)

If anyone wants to hear more about it please don’t hesitate to ask because I’ll be so happy to answer ^o^

Those are silly characters I made for a story playing around with tropes and having the main characters (the three above) confront personified ideas (such as despair, chaos, the notion of good and evil…etc) as they travel through their territory to find the princess who decided to flee the tower she was kept in.

Also they’re all queer :p

I’ve been debating making it into a story or a video game.
