[ ♦ ] ~ Belowski wasn’t someone Bastion often saw, due to their difference in age and the fact that the other male’s mysterious power often caused him to be secluded from the other students in Duel Academy. But when the older student plopped a flower crown onto Bastion’s head, it wasn’t a big surprise, since it seemed entirely like something he would do.

[ ♦ ] ~ “Well, I’m serious most of the time because I have lots of work to do,” The Ra male explained, lightly touching the flower crown atop his head. He then gave a small smile. “But I do appreciate the sentiment. It’s very nice.”

Being someone who was so often ignored, Bastion always appreciated it when he was noticed, especially when said person decided to do something for him without even being asked.

Belowski’s half lidded eyes would search Bastion’s for a moment as if he were waiting for a punchline. It had been ages since he had even been in the position to truly work hard. It seemed almost foreign to think about now. Eventually though, he would smile again. “Righteous.” Simply because he didn’t work the way Bastion did was no reason to argue with his way of life.

Still, he felt as though he might as well add in his own two cents. “Just remember that all work and no play makes Jack a dull dude. Don’t turn into just another worker bee, man. You have to stop and smell the flowers every once in while.” Convoluted metaphors and hyperbole were simply how Belowski communicated most days. It would be difficult to try and get him to simply speak facts.

“Hey, no problem, man.” Belowski’s words would erupt from him in the usual lazy manner. A wide, cheerful smile would be plastered upon his face. It was true, he didn’t roam the actual campus very often, but he’d managed to weasel his way to freedom for the day at least. He only hoped that authority figures didn’t happen to seem him while he was out and about. Though, even if the did, he was sure everything would work out. It always seemed to.

“It looks far out and I figured you could use some seriously good vibrations.” He informed Bastion. “You always look way too serious, dude. You gotta learn how to chill out and just go with the flow.”
