i’m so fucking extra and not even in a useful way like i wanna experiment more with my drawing so I can actually get better (like the goddamn fool i am) and i wanted to practice with objects

problem? the object I chose was a GIANT FUCKING RAFT THAT TAKES UP LIKE 80% OF THE PICTURE

“start off with simple backgrounds!“ says the advice I dROP KICKED INTO THE FUCKING VOID

and because I started off too big I ended up with the problem of being concerned with perspective so what did I think of? oh yeah! downloading a 3d modeling software that I had to learn how to use so I could make a 3d model of this raft so I could use that as a reference! because THAT’S the easiest method to start off with!

but the worst part?

when I was finally done? what I’d already drawn of the raft looked ALMOST IDENTICAL TO THE PERSPECTIVE OF THE 3D MODEL IT WASN’T EVEN FUCKING HELPFUL I’M SO MAD I DID ALL THAT WORK FOR NOTHING
