There's been a number of people reporting over on the AO3 subreddit that they're getting messages like this posted in the comments shortly after posting new fics.
The AO3 team are NEVER going to try and contact you about TOS violations via the comment section (or about anything else for that matter)
Don't click any links. Report the accounts involved (which might claim to be things like "LucySupport"), delete the message and move on.
The thing is. I would eat the grapes. I would eat the pomegranate seeds. I would eat the Turkish delights. It doesn’t matter what the stakes are if you put a little plate of snacks out in front of me I’ll eat them.
If you sent me to an evil fantasy realm and told me that if I ate anything I would die a painful terrible death then set a charcuterie board down in front of me that would be it for me. Like it wouldn’t even be like a torturous internal struggle to not eat the cheese. I wouldn’t even need to be that hungry.
Why is it only Choi and the boyfriend squad that gets accused of being fumblers anyway? What does that even mean? Did Kim Soleum not fumble his own opportunity to make a home at the bureau? Did he not fumble Bronze-ah's sincere trusting heart when he pretended that he would?
Perhaps fumbling is but the nature of being a free agent. Have you thought of that??
Okay the thing is... Choi's role is to challenge Kim Soleum. He is an ally who is morally aligned but also ideologically adversarial, and that's unique and important! He and Bronze challenges KSE's perception of reality and goal! "Why do you wanna go home? What is home to you? Are you trying to exit reality? That's suicide!"
And nobody else really performs this function. Lee Jaheon and J3 are here for unconditional support while Braun is also this but conditional with hint of danger. They do not challenge Kim Soleum's wants or perception of reality.
But the point is. The point is none of anyone's patience or trust had made KSE open up, or decide to stay, not really. So why is Choi the fumbler?
can the US empire please just fall already so we can stop having to beg americans to go beg their officials to vote against the "make everything worse for everyone in the entire world" bill that they're trying to push for like the 12th time by now. like this is just humiliating for everyone involved at this point
i go to the shop and I ask if they have any raspberries. they say no, they used to sell raspberries, but they haven't had any in stock in the last 15 years. I ask if there's somewhere else I can go to buy raspberries. They say no, with confidence and pride, they're the only shop around who has ever sold or will ever sell raspberries. Other shops might sell other fruit, sure, but they have a monopoly on all raspberries forever. I ask if they're possibly planning on them selling them again in future? they say they can't tell me that.
on the way home, I encounter someone eating raspberries. I ask and they tell me that they grow their own, they got some seeds from the shop back in The Raspberry Days and kept them. They take me to a field of many beautiful raspberry plants and invite me to pick my own, they're free for all the town to pick whenever they'd like.

This took me a week. I did this for ORV like 4 years ago so it felt like my moral obligation to make one again.
Some notes on character designs and images without text:
Gorals and domestic goats look very different, but in Manor of the Blind attention is put into how these two are similar and contrasting, the truly noble Go Yeongeun with the white goat and the sinister Baek Saheon with the black goat. I also picked a literal goral instead of a mountain goat (which are naturally white) because gorals look more like roe deers than goats, making the 3 of them more closely linked.
I always thought it was a shame most fanartists don't give Baek Saheon darling 90s curls because that's one of the only traits he explicitly has and is tied into how harmless he looks at first glance and it's adorable
Because this is a horror novel and unnatural features aren't mentioned, I tried to keep this as grounded as possible. Mowing through these anime designs. I don't think J3 is an idol with hair in his eyes. I think he just looks like a very tired guy of ambiguous age
Another hardliner of of grounded designs is Jin Nasol, who gets the most ostentatious anime character treatment besides Jay in fanart. She is coldly utilitarian and prizes efficiency over all else, there is no way that woman has bangs
I am not giving Park Minseong brown hair. There is nothing wrong with a good warm black
Lee Jaheon is often depicted as an adorable little newt in fanart, but a huge part of why he is so hysterical is that he is scary, so I picked more intimidating lizard traits so he functions in both dramatic heroic scenes and eating granola bars with the wrappers still on. He gets to keep the newt mask though
I gave Braun white gloves at first but I saw a Braun cosplayer and a demon possessed me. I have no idea what colour is canon. who doesnt love black leather
Making Jang Heo-un the "sharp eyes meek personality" trope made my brain light up so good. I was trying to contrast with the relaxed eyes of the easygoing Park Minseong to make them more obviously different but this feels cosmically correct
