This is a lot more personal from what I usually post but again, this is my blog so what the hell.

My relationship with my own body has changed in my recovery from abuse. I have trouble not seeing it as something inherently sexual and in bad days I can’t stand to look at myself, my body doesn’t feel safe. But I have also developed a fixation with drawing it. I think it helps, not drawing it in an erotic light, just as it is.

I drew this after a bad episode I had last night. I realized I had forgotten to block my groomer on discord. It’s not that he texted me or anything, I just saw a contact I didn’t recognize so I clicked on it and I saw all of the old messages. It was devastating, like a bucket of cold water I think is the expression. When I told him to not contact me again months ago, he just accepted it, he reacted with a heart to the message. What the fuck?? It scares me to think about it.
