hey yâall! sorry for my absence. i got admitted to the hospital last saturday and just left yesterday. iâm recovering at home and iâve been very tired and out of it, but iâm feeling better each day! my birthday is saturday, so iâm kinda excited about that even though iâll probably spend it at home (relaxing with family, though)
Struggling with a box Clover stopped and bent over to put it on the floor, tugging at the laces of her DMâs to tighten them before continuing she couldnât help but feel eyes on her - flipping up so that her pink hair flared out in the wind she turned back and raised a brow âYou know - itâs rude to stare⊠no matter how perfect my ass is..â she smirked âUnless you wanna help me - then stare all you want..â
The young woman who appeared to be Seacrest Coveâs latest resident caught Lilianâs eye almost immediately. She was hard to miss, sporting unnaturally bright pink hair. The womanâs choice of footwear also caught Liliâs eye; she owned a pair of all black Doc Martens herself. âFlaunt it if youâve got it, right?â âIâll give you a hand, but donât get used to it. Half the people here have sticks up their asses.â
Dakotaâs head was buried in her book, reading about the different types of wolves that existed and how some people adopted wolves. Wouldnât working at a sanctuary for those animals be fun? Her attention was jarred by the female complaining, tilting her head, something that sounded like a laugh parting her lips. âAre you asking for one? because Iâve been told my massages are pretty brutal,â
Lilian made eye contact with the young woman next to her. She wasnât familiar with her apart from seeing her behind the counter at Seacrestâs Bakerâs Delight, where Lili got her sweet tooth fix. Seeing her out of work felt different. Lilian noticed how pretty the other woman was. Ignoring the remaining thoughts she had, she responded to the girl saying, âIs this a customer perk? Buy ten cookies, get a free massage?â Lilian smirked playfully at Dakota, unable to curb her flirty side. âIâll take one if youâre offering, letâs see what you got.â
âWell,â The brunette began, drawing out the word as she scrunched her nose and gave the other woman a grin. âIâm not the best at back rubs because I tend to go further down the back to the butt, but I can prepare us some drinks at my place if you feel like it.â Lola offered, feeling just as tired as Lilian looked, hence why she didnât suggested to go somewhere for a drink, at least for tonight she felt like wandering at home instead of moving around in high heels.
Lilian offered a tired chuckle to the young woman. Already a known flirt, once she reached a certain level of tiredness, Liliâs tact went out the window. âGood thing I carry most of my tension in my lower back and ass.â Without a further word, Lilian began walking toward Lolaâs apartment. âSounds like an offer I canât refuse, Lo. What do you have to drink at your place?â
âAs you are a freshman I can not offer you a drink-â Iva said primly from where she was perched on one of the couches in the living room of the Phi Mu house, willfully ignoring the fact that she had been binge drinking her freshman year of high school. âAnd as I am not a person who likes touching those I do not know well, the closest I can offer you to a massage is give you the name of my masseuse. What has you stressed, little sestrka?â
Lilian eyed the older Phi Mu sister with a hint of sadness in her eyes. The stress she incurred this week in particular had built up to the point of tearful frustration. The only time Lilian felt the need or desire to consume alcohol was socially or when under extreme stress. It didnât bother her that Iva was playing the âbig sisterâ both figuratively and literally. âFair enough, Iva. I have a feeling Iâll need a masseuse on call until the end of hell week.â The younger girl sighed, sinking into a chair in the living area of the sorority house. She buried her face in her hands, attempting to grasp at some composure before answering Ivaâs question. âI guess... Iâm adjusting to college life, but Iâm hoping I didnât bite off more than I can chew.â She made eye contact with Iva. âI look and sound pitiful, donât I?â
âOne of those days, yeah?â Ione inquired, eyeing the young woman with a coy grin. âIâll match you on both if youâll chirp about whatâs bothering you.â
âYou have no idea,â Lilian made eye contact with the other first year who offered a look of sympathy. Lili found herself huffing out a sigh as she slid down onto the bench next to Ione. The pair werenât really friends per say, but they were familiar with each other ââ They were both freshmen, and had the fact that they were both in art club in common. Ione seemed to be a nice enough person, and Lili looked forward to getting to know them. âIâm doing damn good in my classes, but at the expense of any semblance of a social life.â Lilian rolled her eyes to no one in particular. Lilian wasnât a huge drinker, mostly socially, and when stress got the best of her. Her eyes focused on Ione again before speaking, âI may or may not have some alcohol in my apartment. You down to have a drink with me? We can brood more about the woes of being college freshmen.â

âOh for fuckâs sake.â Lilian voiced her displeasure through gritted teeth. She had always been quite good at shouldering a number of responsibilities, but the ones that being a university student presented were far different. Her day to day agenda was starting to become very mundane ââ Juggling sorority tasks, the two jobs she held at Inoubliable and Bridge & Burn, art club, schoolwork, and sports was all her life currently consisted of. The packed schedule left Lilian with virtually no time to enjoy all that Seacrest Cove really had to offer. âIâm in serious need of a back rub and a drink.â
Lilian offered a beaming smile to Veronique, thinking silently about the holidays spent in their home of France. âIl n'y a rien comme NoĂ«l en France.â Christmas was always a special time for Lilian ââ The many gifts were usually her last thought, rather, she always enjoyed this particular time of year because both of her parents had time off from their jobs. âJ'ai encore du shopping Ă faire. Vous voulez vous joindre Ă moi quand vous ĂȘtes libre?â
âNot a word.â Mags chirped with a good deal of forced cheer, adjusting the annoyingly large elf hat perched on her head and resisting the urge to scowl. âI was trying to do something nice for the little kids, and now Iâm sweating like a sinner in church and regretting my choices.â
Lilian barely managed to stifle a laugh as she took in the attire of the young woman. âWell, itâs quite festive... And for a good purpose. You should feel good about it.â The girl looked vaguely familiar to Lilian, but only in the sense that she was a student sheâd seen in passing ââ maybe on the way to class, work, or a dance club meeting. âIâm Lilian, by the way,â she shared before pulling a similar hat out of her bag, and placing it atop her head.
Lilian rolled her eyes at Vance, smirking softly as the liquor ebbed away at her composure. Her neighbor seemed to be a very lighthearted person in general, but especially when she indulged in alcohol. âOkay, Vance⊠If you say Iâm blurry, Iâm blurry.â Lilian rose from the barstool and tugged lightly at Vanceâs arm. âCâmon. Letâs dance, wild child.â
âHey, you started before I did, girl,â He started with a soft snort of amusement, taking her quips and dicey tone in stride and with a sly grin. âAnd youâll finish before I do if you want to take a run with me in the bedroom next time,â He continued. It was mildly crude verbiage, but there was very little about Beau that was PC and when he was flirting with an attractive woman, his concerns about offending quickly went from minimal to nonexistent. âYou got me, though. Beau. Whatâs your name?âÂ
An amused grin played on Lilianâs face in response to Beauâs brazen remark. She wasnât the type to get offended easily, and she appreciated the manâs flirty nature that was much like her own. âA true gentleman knows that ladies come first. The offer is intriguing, but weâll have to see.â Lilian paused for a while, blatantly avoiding Beauâs question just to tease him. âLilian Lennox, but you can call me Tonight.â Lili giggled at her own cliche joke, studying Beauâs face for a reaction.
Though she changes them frequently, her current wallpaper is a photo Lili took herself of a field of sunflowers.

Lilian had been practicing gymnastics in The Cove along with a handful of other students who were all doing their own thing. Among them was a face that was new to her, which piqued her interest. She paused what she was doing to focus on the man who was doing something...âThat heavily depends on what it is youâre trying to do... But in any case, the answer is probably no.â Lilian was amused by the sight. Whatever half-assed yoga pose he was attempting, was a complete fail.
âUh yeah, dude. I need you to move. Youâre sitting on my psychology textbook.â Lilian stared at the man who had fallen asleep on the sofa in the student center. Lilian had been sitting there a few moments ago, leaving her books to stop by the bathroom. Upon returning, she took in the sight that was all too common ââ an exhausted college student that couldnât make it back to their dorm after a endless cram session. âI think the beds in the dorms and apartments are a bit more comfortable than this...â Lilian paused, awaiting the man to share his name.
Beau took a single moment to glance the girl over once more, taken aback slightly when she started flying down the track. A beat behind her, he took a second to huff out a short laugh, catching up to her with little effort. He was active in a handful of athletic activities and had always been a fast kid, but her sleek body and the power he saw in her legs kept her head to head with him until the bitter end, when they crossed the starting line theyâd just looped around simultaneously. Coming to a slow stop, he turned to face her once more, hands on his knees as he caught his breath before snapping back up and clapping his hands together. âNot bad, sweetheart,â He breathed with a toothy grin, pointing in her direction. âMakes me wonder what your staminaâs like.âÂ
Lilian placed her hands on her hips and let out a slightly exasperated sigh, annoyed with herself that they tied. Her parents always pushed her to be better. Shoving her negative thoughts into the back of her mind, her next words to the man dripped off her tongue like honey, âFinally someone that can keep up with me. Your effort is admirable.â She paused for a beat before speaking again, taking the moment to observe the fine details about the man. She matched the manâs flirty demeanor, saying, âYou donât waste any time with flirting, do you? Donât you wanna know the name of the girl that made you work for it?â
