[text:] k.
Liliana rolled her eyes before deleting the text, somebody was clearly abusing copy and paste after one too many. Still it was a bit creepy, especially when she had no idea whether or not this was a crazy hallucination, especially after the body thing.
âNever mind. The lights are so pretty now. I donât know why I didnât like them before.â
â...Okay?â
âNo, but I kinda have this personal rule where I never turn down a free drink. Itâs only gotten me roofied once, so⊠Itâs a pretty good rule.â
âPretty good rule,â Liliana nodded in solidarity as she walked towards the bar âWhatâs your poison?â
âOh? And what can I do to make it a yes?
âI...uh..â
âThatâs a shame. You look damn good in black, Lil.â
âThank you, itâs true. If I buy you a bro drink will it spare your feelings?â
When Liliana sang the end of her reference, Amelia couldnât help but smile and tried to hide her enjoyment by biting her lip. This would be the kind of story Jackson would ask her about for months afterwards and if she didnât flirt as much as she could, half his questions would start with: why didnât youâŠ? Swaying her hips as she walked, Amelia gathered up her courage to deliver her best line when Lil beat her to it. Blinking in shock, Amelia licked her lips, stalling for time to think of a clever response. âWhy not have both?â She asked, dropping her voice an octave as she ordered their drinks and hoped her husky voice was more sexy than embarrassing.
She was an animation major of course Liliana was going to sing Poor Unfortunate Souls, because it was her second favorite villian song. Nazi hyenas kind of won out over everything else. Lily couldnât help but notice the sway to Ameliaâs hips (who wouldnât to be honest?), her jaw almost dropped at Ameliaâs next words. âOh is that an offer?â The brunette asked, praying that she wasnât hearing things.

Holy shit. A part of Zach was still waiting for that haha, got ya! moment, but that didnât happen. Holy shit. Someone was dead
âLike, murdered, knives in throats?â He felt himself go pale at the thought. All these people, and ⊠and there were so many places to hide. Jesus, what a night to kill a person! Zach wanted to run back to the rave, to the bar, where there were people and everyone was just having a grand olâ time. But any one of them could be a murderer, right?
âWhereâs that body?â he asked, peering around the girl into the darkness. If a murderer was lurking around, maybe going to the scene of the crime would ⊠what, exactly? Give him a leg up on the guy? Well, that was certainly better than getting drunker than a sitting duck, right?
âNo I mean the fun way where people hold hands and sing and skip around campfires,â Liliana said, impatiently and sarcastically. She wasnât joking, she was scared for her life and her heart was pounding in a way that she would never have thought possible before. Though it did occur to her that maybe hanging around here wasnât a good idea, probably a really bad idea actually. Especially if there was a dude who had been in possession of a knife and wasnât afraid to use it. Just nope, she was noping the hell out.
âDonât go down there, alone!â Liliana hissed, panic still written all over her face. âWhoever it is might be down there, I donât want to end my life in a Paris catacomb by a guy with a knife because thatâd probably be lame!â Priorities Fitz, priorities. Though generally she really didnât want to die because that would probably be a terrible idea. Hello, because dying wasnât fun? Finally, pulling a face and giving in, Liliana stomped back down the tunnel - pointing in the direction. âWait, what the fuck?â the brunette frowned, bodies just didnât get up and walk out of there? Where the hell had it gone?

Okay, so maybe he had drunk a little too much to start off the night. Â But he wasnât singing yet, so no big deal, right? Â Unfortunately, the alcohol in his system served to make the pounding music and lights even worse on his head. Â Funny how he could stick his head in roaring engines all day, but the rave music was almost too much. Â Was he getting too old for this? Nah.
Still, he felt himself drawn towards the tunnels, where the light wasnât so risky for epileptics. Â In particular, the one right by the bar seemed to draw his attention. Â Maybe it was the poison in his brain, but it looked odd to him. Â Well, odder than the normal skeletons lining the walls and such.
Of course, as soon as he entered the thing, Zach wanted to know where the hell it went. Â These catacombs were supposed to run all over the city, right? Â There was no telling where he could end up. Â He barely registered footsteps until someone smacked right into him.
âHah, funny.  You almost got me,â he laughed as the person - a girl he didnât know - said one of the most obvious things their situation had to offer, âThereâs lots of dead bodies all over this place.â Â
Wait, why was she being so frantic, though?  The joke was over⊠right? âDid you mean, like a, fresh body?â
The guy seemed to think it was funny, like she was being stupid and joking or something. Oh wait...yeah catacombs, dead body. Well done Liliana, she noted to herself. She definitely done that right hadn't she? But the brunette's heart was still hammering like crazy in her chest and not in the fun way. Part of her just really wanted to push past this guy and go straight for the exit, maybe some fresh air would calm her down or something. Very little rattled Liliana Fitz, but seeing an actual dead body for real, in real life? Yeah, that was just...no.
"Yeah," the brunette said, her voice still shaking a little "An actual fresh one, unless dead Parisians of centuries past are suddenly undecomposed and have knives stuck in their throats." Her sarcasm was back, as much of a defense against the shock of it all as she could muster. She didn't know what to say or do really, part of her was creeping up in the paranoia stakes because well...this was supposed to be a fun rave. Not whoops, accidental body alert! Have a nice vacation. Then there was the other part of her who really needed a drink right now.

Liliana really needed the bathroom, she hadnât had one too many but still it was like super dark down here and she couldnât see. Stupid rave, needs to invest in some quality lights. Liliana thought, rolling her eyes as she continued on her way, squinting in the dark as she walked. She was having a great time though, aside from the interesting choice in venue the rave was pretty fun. Oh and the fact their professor was there, still she doubted that Professor Olivier would really mind much that they were all letting loose. Especially since he was here in the first place.
They couldn't exactly keep track of everybody down here.
Okay so bathroom was down which tunnel? The rave organisers apparently hadn't thought much about it, if they had they would have invested in like signs, or a map or a better lighting system. Grumbling, Liliana reached for her phone finally to use as a light to try and find her way around before realising that she'd nearly tripped over a heap on the floor. "Sorry," the brunette mumbled half-heartedly, running a hand through her hair. Really were people passed out on the floor drunk this early? She glanced down, one eyebrow raised.
Oh shit, definitely not a passed out drunk person.
Unless passed out drunk people now had knives in their throats? Okay nope. Nope. Bathroom trip now forgotten, Liliana decided to do what any sane person would do, which was get the fuck out of there and try and get help. She was trying to think rationally, for all she knew it could have been an accident or something. But if there was a knife wielding maniac, she wasn't staying in the vicinity - no way, no how. So the brunette turned and practically sprinted back down the tunnel where she'd come from.
Promptly bumping into somebody on her way down, Liliana held her hands up in a resemblance of an apology but noting that the other person was headed down the way that she'd came. "I uh wouldn't go down that way if I were you," Liliana said, shaking her head as panic crept in her voice. "I know this is going to sound crazy, but I'm like 90% sure that there's a fucking dead body down there," She grabbed at her phone again, no reception - goddammit. She needed to call the cops on this one.

âWell then, hypothetically, there might be a lot more where that came from.â Amelia replied with an equally flirtatious smile, wondering if Lil was a little tipsy or if she really was as interested as Ames was. âAbsolutely.â Amelia agreed, guiding Lil towards the bar. âAnyone who pronounces âyes, yesâ the same way as a synonym for a dick is worth watching out for in my eyes, but who knows? They could just be some poor unfortunate souls.â She added, referencing Little Mermaid as she reached the bar. âWhat are you having?â
âGood to know the hypothetical situation!â Liliana hid her grin behind the drink in her hand. âIn pain, in need!â Ever the Disney geek, Liliana could hardly help herself from singing along to Poor Unfortunate Souls. She knew that she was a terrible nerd, but hey they were in Paris, there was a hot girl really close to her and she was a little tipsy. âI donât knoow,â Liliana said with a giggly shrug âAre you available? If not rum and coke is fine.â

Youâre sitting there in the dark. But donât worry, thereâs nothing to be afraid of.
[text:] lol what?Â
[text:] if youâre trying to quote star wars, youâre doing it wrong.
âDepends. Was it working?â
âMaaaaybe.â
âWould you like me to be?â
âI donât know, would you like to?â
âWhat if I was?â Amelia asked with a playful smile before looking down and brushing her hair aside. âNo, but seriously, do you want me to buy you a drink? I donât trust a lot of the guys around here whoâve been offering.â
âHypothetically Iâd be very okay with that,â Liliana smiled, wondering if her prayers to the âplease donât let the hot chick be straight Godâ had been answered. âSweet of you to offer and Iâll take you up on it, Iâm not sure if the Frenchies are into spiking peopleâs drinks but who knows right?â she said with a shrug.
âI thought about it, but I really just wanted to ask if you wanted a drink.â
âPoints for not using a cheesy chat up line, but yeah okay sure, Iâm a rum and coke type of girl,â
