"O-Oh— No it’s okay, j-just be careful with that", Aiden replied scratching his cheek in equal embarrassment. That certainly wasn’t the way to treat any potential costumer. "U-Um— Is there something I can help you with…?", the reaper asked, trying not to sound rude but rather inviting.

Dell shook themselves out of their embarrassment, turning a pleasant shade of blue, and said, 「Oh, yes!  I was thinking about adding some plants to my cafe.  Apparently people think it would looks nicer with a few around.」  While Dell did love their little shop, some people said it seemed “a little dead” and that some plants “would liven things up”, sentiments that Dell couldn’t understand.  「I was wondering if you could help me pick some out, if you’re not too busy with other customers…?」

"My friends are doing the deliveries today so... I can help you pick some for your cafe!", Aiden replied with a wide grin upon his lips. "Is there something you have in mind?", the reaper inquired, trying to see just exactly where they could start looking.

Dell: *touches plant. plant starts smoking* "...I thought that plants didn't conduct electricity. >:( "

”!!!”, the young man rushed towards the pot, a small bottle of water in hand. “I know nothing about that… b-but please be careful…”, he replied, attending the slightly scorched areas of the plant

Dell stared at their hand with a sense of betrayal, monitor a scarlet blush.  「…I apologize,」 they said, 「I thought i had better control than that…」  The young man with the water bottle seemed concerned over the plant, and Dell turned a darker shade of red in shame.  The plant hissed under the water and they viciously regretted not discharging all their static electricity back at the shop before wandering about.  That could’ve been a person, they thought unhappily.

"A-Are you sure?", the reaper answered, accepting the offer nevertheless as refusing it would be impolite. "T-then a cup of tea… and any type of sweet bread…", Aiden sheepishly answered, still feeling guilty of having the other treat him a meal he might have been able to afford. "This place… do you frequent it…?", the young man inquired, trying to start a casual conversation.

"Yeah. I come here at least once a day. Sometimes to eat, other times to read or relax. It’s a really nice place." Jesse thought for a second. "Maybe even after all this we should meet up here sometime."

He turned to the person on the other side of the counter and ordered. He took out his wallet, counted the money, then slid it across the smooth surface. Within a minute, a fancy silver tray was pushed forward, two cups and a plate filled with slices of pumpkin bread.

The dream eater picked it up and placed it on a nearby table next to the window.

"Here you go." Jesse pulled up one chair for Aiden and sat on the opposite side of it.

"It looks like a nice place...", Aiden idly moved his head around, eyes scanning the small shop they had just entered. "Oh and the smell... is just delicious", he added, pulling a gentle smile out of his short reservoir of energy. 

"T-Thanks", Aiden blushed lightly, feeling embarrased now that the food had been placed in front of him. 'I-Is this really okay...?', he mumbled.
