          after being kicked out zafirah couldn’t really be picky with the jobs she took. her most recent one? she was the assistant of some assistant. sure, it wasn’t her dream job but it was pretty close, she was pretty close to the catwalk. she was completely mesmerized by that world and it was the closest she could get so she was happy in her own way. that night her eyes somehow find kendall’s though. or maybe they dont. it would be pretty cocky to think such thing, right? she shakes such thoughts as she just blushes and looks down for only a second, not wanting to miss the opportunity of watching kendall go down the catwalk.

The show dragged on or at least that’s what Kendall thought it felt like. She was sweating, sticky and more make-up on her face than a clown. She was backstage now and it was just as chaotic as when the show began. Home, home, home, home. That was the major priority in her mind right now. Nothing else. Tiredness sat on her shoulders and tugged at her eyes. However, she noticed one particular girl running around. That face familiar. She was staring at it half the time. Kendall inhaled deeply and walked over to the other female. “Hey, I saw you earlier. When I was nearly blinded but it looked like I was staring at you like you had two heads.”

Oscar often took late night walks. He liked walking around the city at night, it gave him inspiration. It was quiet, and he liked to see what kinds of people would be out at that hour. He was attempting to light his cigarette, and his damn lighter broke again. He always wanted to kick himself for not buying more than one at a time. “Uh yeah, you got a light?” He asked with a slightly awkward smile. “Mine’s messed up.”

Using her thumb to switch the flame on she held it out for him. “What got you out here so late, stranger?”

A slight pink shade colored her cheeks when she saw the other female look over at her. Kendall gave her a small, embarrassed smile before quickly averting her eyes to the next model walking down.

Before she would have NEVER thought she’d get that far. Now she was just roaming through a random store she decided to go to late at night because she had nothing better to do. Nearly TRIPPING over someone’s feet in front of her. “Oh sorry! I didn’t see you there!” She regained her balance, giving the stranger apologetic eyes.

It was late so very few people walked by. A puff of w h i t e smoke left her lips and fluttered into the air GRACEFULLY in front of her. One stranger in particular caught her attention. They had seemed to be struggling with something but she couldn’t make out what it was. “You need help with something?”

Well, he didn’t have an exact reason for himself either. Something just made him want to visit today. His eyes were down on his feet as he walked through the halls when he COLLIDED with a smaller body next to him. Her voice snapped him out of his shock. “Don’t be. It was my fault. I didn’t see you there.””
