Mark Gatiss Download Links

This is a collection of download and streaming links to Mark Gatiss-related TV, film and audio content; ranging from the League of Gentlemen to Sherlock to A History of Horror, from cameos in obscure 1990’s sitcoms and radio documentaries on Doctor Who up to appearances on Qi and quiz show Only Connect. (Not forgetting the legendary film ‘Sex Lives of the Potato Men’.)

I don’t pretend that this is a fully comprehensive list of everything Mark has ever done, but I think of it as a pretty good start! If you can’t find what you’re looking for here then try Arri’s excellent Mark Gatiss Master Post which focuses more on streaming links than download links - she’s got just about everything including lots of his earlier work which is more difficult to find on torrents.

This list is in approximate chronological order, divided between the League of Gentlemen related material, other TV/Films and then Radio and Audio Books. Where shows are commercially available in your area please watch, listen, screencap and gif away, generally enjoy, but also consider purchasing the relevant DVDs or legal downloads as applicable. If you like it (and Mark/the League/etc) then buy it and help to support more creative works!

Most links are now to the Mega hosting site which allows for easy downloads of larger files, but older Mediafire (‘MF’) duplicate links have file size restrictions so have been split in some cases. Where you see a folder of files labelled ‘X.001’, ‘X.002’ and so on use hjsplit to rejoin them before watching. It’s a freeware program and very quick and simple to use. 

If any of the links are broken, incomplete, stop working or go all screwy in any other way please let me know by ask and I’ll remove the broken links and try to get things re-uploaded. I’ve got around 50GB of material hosted here and lots of links so apologies if things have got mixed up anywhere - refreshing this list has been quite a big project! Also if you’re dying to download something but don’t get on with Mega or Mediafire then let me know what filehost site is good for you and I’ll see if I can’t arrange for an alternative set of links.

Benedict speaks as though Sherlock is a real person, I say. “He’s real to me, yeah of course, it has to be. He is an icon, so there’s an element of him where he is a logo, and that is two-dimensional, and to escape stereotype you have to get some kind of understanding of who he is. So you do associate something very personable to him, and you start to think about him in real terms. And there’s such a massive wealth of detective stories that Conan Doyle wrote, he feels quite substantial. Benedict Cumberbatch on the modern setting: “The challenges in a world where observation through surveillance, where detection through science, where publications and communications through media can all be turned against him make it a far more dangerous world for Sherlock to be in, so he has to be faster and ten times more practical than his Victorian incarnation.

“The idea is that Sherlock Holmes is the origination of all modern detectives, so to try and see whether he still has a workplace in the 21st century is a worthwhile experiment. He was a forerunner in forensic fields, he started experimenting with footprint and fingerprint analysis and bloodstain analysis and cigarette ash which he wrote monographs about, and he’s now in a world where all of that has been brought fully up to speed and where you have any number of brilliant maverick detectives who are brilliant at their job who have all been inspired by him, whether it’s Cracker, Tennyson, Rebus, who knock about with a bottle or some kind of addiction or personal quirk that means they’re slightly outside of their social realm.
