So, yall know how Kenku (bless their hearts) were cursed to only be able to repeat what they've heard and whatnot?
So do yall think rich people would use kenku to record like fancy bard's tales so that they can use them as like a record player?
I mean, you'd probably have to pay less gold to get a kenku over hiring the bard, but the morality of it all is extremely questionable

The glasses dont actually give you intelligence, they instead give a +5 to any deception checks if you're trying to convince someone you're smarter than you are
Campaign story-line idea
So, basically
you take the party, and what their 'main weapon' would be (like a battle axe for a barbarian, a staff for a wizard. That kind of thing), and you base the campaign around finding ancient relics of the past *that are the weapons they'd mainly use (I forgot to add that originally lmao). And while not really useful at the start, once you get them enchanted or smthn, they become really useful during the BBEG fight (and are a central part of the fight itself)
Atp I should put my ideas into a full on campaign (except for the warlock... I really like the warlock idea and want to actually use it)
The start of a campaign idea!!!
Sosososo, basically The start of the campaign needs to get your players hooked, right? Well here's a damn good idea for that that's been stuck in my head for a few days

You and your companions lay in the snow. Your blood pouring out slowly. The silhouette of the person... no... monster... who did this to you, stands above you all. And walks away...
And as the light starts to get brighter, and as you get so close to seeing the gates of the heavens, you hear...
WAKE UP
A cleric stands before you and your companions...

Boom, awesome start of a campaign. I plan to use this eventually
Optionally, you can have the cleric be a party member who was late, and it'd give them some aura immediately
Another legit character idea
Sososososososososososo, here's the idea The character made a pact with some ancient asf tree, and to get access to said tree's powers, part of the tree had to grow in the character's arm. Like, their arm would have roots around it, and as the warlock becomes more powerful, the roots grow more and more.
This idea comes from a character I only got to place once, it was a minecraft campaign, and i asked if my patron could be the wither, and part of that idea was having the wither effect take over one of my arms :3 That campaign died after the first session, though :(

A bard college of glamour with the Hermit background
A lonely creature living in the depths of the feywild after a fiend banished them there. They had only their instrument with them, and a goal of escaping. During their time, they studied the colorful nature of the feywild, and found a song unlike any other. A song of seduction, and a song of glamour. Somehow, someway, they escaped the fey and returned to the normal planes. Whether they were in their home plane or not wasn't important. They must spread her song to the masses.
I may be a little off when it comes to college of Glamour lore, but I read a brief description of it and thought this would be cool :3
Totally original character idea
A bard that comes from a small town, who met with another bard from a neighboring town. These towns have been in a feud for as long as they could remember. But this feud didn't stop their love.
One of the bards was a writer, who wrote stories of death and despair. And the other bard changed their stories to be about love and happiness.
But one day, the towns caught wind of their love, and made sure they couldn't see one another ever again.
And the character is the bard who wrote happy endings. Endlessly searching for any sign of her lost love.
And the other bard opened a small theater where she could share her tragic stories. Hoping that her lost love will find it.
Since when did this exist????

Random (but TTRPG related kinda?) thing
Me and a friend of mine made some backup characters for a Pathfinder2e campaign we were playing, and we just randomly decided to make them the bestest of friends???? It was so random, but like it was so fun. We got so into it that there's a literal tumblr page we made for them to just post random shit on 😭. But, anyways, the page is https://www.tumblr.com/punches-and-petals, I'm the one who uses the #grassy tag, and refers to herself as Water Lily.
I'm also the only one of us who's actually posted anything on the page, despite it being setup by my friend, who uses tumblr much more often than I do 😭
I'd go into more detail about Water Lily (My character), but it is 5:34AM for me, and I have yet to sleep. AND I need to clean my entire house before my family gets back home from their vacation later today.
I also plan to use this more, I'll try for once a week, but I never know :3

But like, seriously. I've been thinking of playing a character who is a sorcerer, but they weren't born with their powers(as most sorcerers are), but instead they were apart of a series of unethical and downright torturous experiments, which resulted in them gaining their magical abilities.
I've been so hyperfocused on this character concept, and I even had it approved by one of my players who wants to try DMing after we finish the current campaign :3

Here's a fun one, and I challenge you to see if you can guess it quickly
I want to play a Warforged Bard who used to be an entertainer as the lead singer of a small band, one day someone close to them (physically) died, and their soul became apart of their machinery, giving them the body of a machine with the mind and soul of a human (child)

I'm thinking about using to post DnD (or really any TTRPG) character concepts (whether it be a PC, NPC, or BBEG), and random things that have happened from campaigns I'm apart of
I might still go with the random thing titles, but I'm not fully sure yet
So to kick things off - A character who believes that "sleep" is just a front to make creatures vulnerable for the great owl of the night.
