Even Longer Seasons by Rasmus Massie (adopted by lilmsjaded)
Hi everyone! I just want to announce that I'm adopting the Even Longer Seasons mod by Rasmus Massie, who sadly passed away in August last year and whose Patreon was unfortunately removed sometime this year. I'm new to the Sims 4 modding community, but I'm willing to learn everything I can about modding so that I can do my absolute best in maintaining this mod and fixing any issues that arise with it.
What It Does:
Instead of the traditional 28-day season length that you would have within your Sims 4 game options, you can now have your choice of 42-, 63- and 84-day season lengths with this mod. This means that seasons in-game can be 6 weeks long, 9 weeks long or 12 weeks long, so if you would like to be able to do more with your sims during the seasons without them ending so soon, then this mod will be perfect for your gameplay.
Hey y'all, just wanted to give you a heads up that I'm still testing the mod for the current patch, but I had already tested it for the previous patch from April and it was working well in-game. Also, don't worry if you notice that it resets to the beginning of the current season in your saves, it'll progress to the next season after it reaches the number of days listed on the version you picked for your game.
Hey y'all, I'm back once again to say that this mod is compatible with Patch 1.24. I'll have to wait for the laundry list that's coming out this Tuesday to see if it's gonna be compatible with the newest update that's being released on the 30th, but as long as there's no new changes to the seasons' tuning code, everything should be fine.

Once again, don't be alarmed if the current season resets itself to the beginning in your saves while using this mod. It will still progress to the next season after reaching the number of days the early/late season length has, which will add up to the number of days whichever version you decide to use for your game.
Hey y'all, just a quick reminder that the Sims 4 base game update is coming tomorrow at 1 p.m. ET (2 p.m. AT/12 p.m. CT/11 a.m. MT/10 a.m. PT/9 a.m. Alaskan/7 a.m. Hawaiian). If you're planning on updating your game, please back up your saves, trays, and mods before doing so. If you're not planning on updating right away, make sure you click on the "Go Offline" option in the sandwich menu on the top left corner of the EA App so you can play the game in offline mode until all your mods are cleared to be either compatible or updated to this latest game patch.
Hey y'all, I'm still planning on updating my game so I can test to see if the ELS mod is compatible with the newest patch, but there's a visual glitch where roofs don't want to show up and only showing edges (among other weird effects) cuz it's acting like open rooms are fully enclosed, so if you haven't updated your game yet, please hold off doing so until EA releases a hotfix for this, which I hope will be sooner rather than later.
