  Max wasnât home. Her guardian, currently, was tracking down some new chains ( since he broke the previously ones during one of his transformations ). This left little Redd all alone in the backyard that met the forestâs mouth. She had brought a towel onto the sloping lawn along with a beach bag and a portable radio that would fill in the gaps of silence between the beeâs humming and the birdâs chirping. Usually, Redd would join Max on his errands, but she was transfixed by her new neighbor, Mr. Wolfe. She was no stranger to his species, yet she still found him superbly entrancing. She perched herself upon the polka dot blanket, raising her chin to peer over at her neighbor leaving the back door. She rose her hand to give him a nonchalant wave and a smile laced with girlish excitement. âHi, Mr. Wolfe!
@arsonxsts
  âI-I dunno...â She shook her head before nervously flitting her eyes back to catch onto his gaze. She sat on the edge of the dock with him, legs swaying back and forth. A towel was thrown over her shoulders, only slightly warming her dew dropped skin. âMaybe I should start heading home...â A tongue flicked out to wet her lips. âYâknow... Max doesnât really like me hanging out with you.â
@noaccountingforincubi
  âOh...!â Redd had been slightly startled by the sudden crunch and snap of the twig. She had been swimming, trying to rid the blood from her skin. She had helped Max bury another body. She gazed at the woman upon the shore of twigs and crunched, autumn leaves. Redd bobbed up and down in the water for a moment before slicking back her hair. âYou, uh, you scared me.â
                       Just a girl & her pup.Â
                       modern-horror red riding hood.

   âYâknow.... Max doesnât like you much.â Sheâs sitting on the back steps of the cabin, fixing her fishing line. She had just spotted Damian leaving the entrance of the forest and unfortunately for him, that meant crossing paths with Redd. Her lip twitches into a smirk as she glances his way. âYou may not be a werewolf, but heâs still very territorial.â She taps the end of the fishing hook with her fingertip, feeling the new sharpness she had crafted. She draws a droplet of blood from her flesh and smiles to herself. âSo Iâd suggest not killing in the woods.â Redd then proceeds to draw the fresh blood from her wound, eyes locking onto his.Â
@illvgal
   âH e y,â she hisses in the dark. Redd sees the silhouette of her sibling stand in the doorway to her room. She pulls the covers just below her chest and narrows her eyes at her figure. âWhat are you doing back so late?â She grumbles some sort of yawn and partially sits up, leaning back on her elbows. âYou woke me up too,â she adds before rubbing her eyes with a balled up fist.
liked for a thing. Â
His fingers are steady on the blade, the sliver  being held in his fingers. Eyes wary in these woods, ever since heâs ganked one ware, heâs not sure if thereâs another one around.
   Redd has been spying on him for awhile. He was a hunter. No doubt. Well, one thing was for sure: he wasnât getting her precious Max. Luckily, he was back in the cabin, curled up by the fire, hopefully calming down from his transformation. âHope youâre not gonna use that on me,â she says, stepping from the shadows. A bolt of lightning cracks dramatically upon the horizon. She takes down her hood and offers him a kind smile. âThe police are doing an investigation here. You better beat it before they pin you for the suspect.â

âShit, Max,â she hisses under her breath. Her so-called âdogâ had bit her hand after he had ripped one of the citizens of Tashmore to SHREDS. However, Redd didnât quite blame him. She completely understood that it was an act of passion, a heat of the moment type thing. She stood over the sink, winding a roll of gauze around the gaping wound. With her free hand, she fished through the cupboard for any jars of her healing gel she had saved from a previous spell. No such luck. She would have to brew a new batch sometime this evening.Â
When the stranger stepped onto the territory of the wolf and his little Redd, the hulking beast lunged at him from the tree, but stopped short. Fortunately for Zak, Max was tied to a tree with a set of chains. The werewolf ferociously snapped at the air before him, saliva laced canines bared. His piercing golden eyes glared daggers at the approaching boy.
Reddâs gaze shot to the window as she witnessed her personal guard dog just barely missing the strange boy outside. âMax!â She slapped her damp rag back into the sink and hauled ass outside. She sprinted down the rickety wooden steps of the cabin and sent the screen door creaking behind her. âUh----SPOT!â What an original name for the âdogâ. She jogged towards the beast with coarse fur and acerbic orbs. âDown, boy, dowwwwwwn.â She sunk her hand into his neck, fingers weaving through his bristles. This time, he made sure not to bite her. He knew his place, but his instincts sometimes were amplified to the extreme. Redd then turned her attention sharply back to the boy and feigned a cordial smile âCan I help you...?â Her stare hardened. â...Stranger?â

Theyâre always on the move. Never settling down in one place for too long. They go where ever their work takes them. Or sometimes, where ever they just feel compelled to go. This time theyâve come to a stop in Tashmore. Zak and Jaewon have been able to stay on the down-low. The community here seems to genuinely care about one another, but also knows not to cross boundaries unless needed. It feels good to be able to have some down time after their last run at a batshit crazy job. It wasnât one they left unscathed. Unlike Zak whose healing abilities are far more accelerated, Jaewon is still in the process of healing. Sensing Zakâs restlessness in the motel room theyâve been hiding out in, Jaewon suggests that Zak gets some air. Sure, why not.Â
Dusk has settled over the town, the last rays of daylight creeping across the horizon. The easy warmth of the day from earlier has cooled as night approaches. Zak pulls the hood of his sweater over his head, earbuds in with music playing. He keeps to himself as he walks, no destination in mind. Itâs not long until heâs just straight up wandering. Time passes. Getting bored. Heâs just about to turn around to return to where his brother isâ
âthen halts abruptly at that scent. The scent that makes his stomach ache with hunger. The scent that has his dark brown eyes flickering red for a fraction of a second. The scent that makes the ghoul inside salivate. ( blood â blood â human blood â human flesh â meat â food â ) âFuck.â Zak takes in a deep breath to steady himself. Jaewon has helped him train to keep his hunger in check, and not act upon his ghoul impulses. But the smell of fresh blood still troubles him. Thereâs just too much of it for this to be normal. Swearing under his breath, Zak texts Jaewon the situation. He shoves the phone away, then follows the scent trail. Heâs quick to arrive at the source: a house by the woods. Looks ordinary. But the scents surrounding this house and coming from this house are anything, but normal. With caution, Zak approaches it. He stops when hearing a noise. His body tenses, senses more vigilant than ever. If he needs to fight, he will. But heâs trying this whole, âDonât use aggression unless neededâ thing by Jaewonâs request.Â
ââŠhello?â

suggested relations: significant other, fwb, ex, step-sibling, etc.
 the amount of FUMES running through his VIENS were high and he could feel his hands CLENCHING so TIGHT that his knuckles turning LIGHTER. â i donât FUCKING care if heâs â just a FRIEND. â i can see the way he UNDRESSES you with his eyes and i DONâT like it. i want you to stop SEEING him. â
   Redd momentarily ceased playing with her nails to glance up at him from the couch. âDo you realize how utterly ridiculous you sound? Youâre overthinking things again.â She returns to chipping away at the polish on her thumb--an excuse to avoid the harsh tug of his gaze. âYouâre not my dad. You canât make me do anything,â she mumbles under her breath.Â
@hxiltotheking
âDonât move!â She outstretches her hand for a moment, signaling for the male to halt. Heâs backed up against a tree with Max snarling at him menacingly. The wolf is ready to pounce--his ears are folded back and thick saliva drips from his maw. Heâs ready to FEAST. Thankfully, Redd is there to stop him. She trudges down towards the mossy trench and screams over the rain: âJust stay still and breathe or else heâll lunge!â Redd sneaks up behind the wolf and catches the bristly fur of his neck. He yelps and barks for a moment before snapping out of his hypnotic state of hunger. Shamefully, the wolf bows its head and trots behind the girl. She stares at the man in the pouring rain for a moment before saying, âYouâre gonna have to come with me, Sir.â
@krovopiytsa
   âI like blood too,â she says. Her voice is laced with a soft hostility. Redd folds her arms and closes the gap between herself and the man. âAnd so does my dog. Listen...â She isnât afraid to stand down. âThis town isnât big enough for three individuals on the hunt for blood, so letâs work something out, shall we?â Redd didnât need an additional person who needed to kill for blood. Max already did far enough and the town officials were already becoming suspicious. Unless she could place the blame precisely on this man, she and Max couldnât get away scot-free. âLetâs work this out like adults, huh?â
â Howling, eh?â Arthur questioned as he walked towards the curtains, pulling them aside to reveal darkness outside, lightning occasionally lighting up the sky enough to see. â I wonât open the door.â Pulling the curtains back into place Arthur smiled. â Sure would hate to be out there now-â It was warm and comfy inside, much nicer then his home, anyway.Â
   âGreat. Glad we got that settled.â Thunder rumbled ominously outside. Reddâs eyes lifted to the ceiling as the lights flickered on and off. âNo...â And in one instance, the power went out with a low hum. She slapped her magazine down on the cushion beside her and placed her hands on her hips. âWell... No power. No electricity. No heat.â She forced an optimistic smile. âGuess I can make us some hot cocoa. The stove is gas, so...â She turned her back on him for a moment and the grin instantly dropped. Redd couldnât quit obsessing over the fact that Max could barge in any moment and tear her friend to pieces. âWant any marshmallows with it?â
