Rewatching some old favourite minecraft videos while crocheting, and it all really made me think of all the capabilities storytelling has. Seriously, videos like 'The creepy Alpha Minecraft livestream channel' duology by Zachobuilds and the Statesmp 'documentaries' (for the lack of a better word) are really just portions of realistic worlds told through a ficitional, unrealistic, square-blocky world. I love creativity.

To tack onto this, I’ve found this channel called ApolloTV, who makes story focused Minecraft videos. He has a whole playlist for the Apollo Cinematic Universe, which I’ve been slowly working my way through. Someone should get this man a prize, it’s genuinely amazing.

I’ve really played either Undertale or Deltarune, but with the release of chapter five, I can’t help but also be excited. This is mainly down to the inherent mystery present within both games, and the theory crafting community is fascinating to read about!

Deltarune’s weird route especially mimics old stories of creepypastas and hidden secrets, down to the unsettling aspects of some scenes. It’s very interesting to me. I know some people who aborted the route because they feel bad, but aren’t they curious? They’re still fictional characters, it’s not like you’re actual hurting anyone.

Regardless, I eagerly await the outcome of the “when did she smile” mystery.

Video essays on YouTube are brilliant ways to learn about new things. Recently I watched one on Cicada 3301, which I found very intriguing. To this day, nobody knows what it was really about. It makes me wonder, what other mysteries might lay waiting out there in the world, still unsolved?

Most of the time, I eat instant noodles and hard boiled eggs for dinner. Going out with my friends is simply an excuse to buy expensive, good-looking food that makes me seem well-kept together..
