What's the best advice you can give someone who dreams of becoming a writer but doesn't believe in themselves or their "talent" LOVE your writing xoxo •Aspiring writer with little to no talent for it•

Well, the first thing I’d say is, do not be too hard on yourself.

Sometimes we can become our own worst critics when it comes to creative pursuits. 

Doubt is the writer’s shadow.

Accept it and move on.

Just write, put something down on paper and try not to over analyse what you’ve written.

Some pieces will work, others not so much, but all have merit.

Often I have written something that seems to be going nowhere only to have those very words inspire a new idea.

Whilst we are on the subject of inspiration, explore.

Explore your emotions, seek new experiences, travel, people watch, listen to all kinds of music, go to an art gallery and observe nature.

Sometimes it is the smallest of details that create the biggest of stories.

Most of all, ignite your passion for writing.
