puriteens, bash back
i vaguely rember reading sophie lewis's (thumbs down) article on enemy feminisms that made decent points but worse than some better writings on the subject... in which she also stated how welcoming (cis)lesbians in 70s were to trans women - no way it s accurate...
and some other things abt her make me weary. annoying writing style, effusive, melodramatic, tendentious. also, she doesnt care for feminism, like it's embarrassing or something
dirtbag adjacent types who were talking shit abt autistics need their sculls stomped on
you get into freud and lo, months later, you are talking of politics as rejection of mother or whatever.

Just for you nerds out there, there are about 10 different wordings on this quote. But until I get some contrary evidence, the version I go with, appeared in Life magazine in 1959
"A painting is not a picture of an experience; it is an experience."
- Mark Rothko
For me, this is also the version that is the most coherent as a thought. I do not know of this quote appearing earlier and I'm going to inquire. However, I can scarcely imagine it being corrected if it appeared this way in Life magazine.
'freud vindicated' yeah cause you know-nothing losers have low standards and would vindicate doo doo off the ground
