Your periodic reminder that Dark Empire was insane, actually, and Legends Luke Skywalker canonically has mute mutant bodyguards that he personally bred with Dark side techniques and chemically altered to be completely subservient to his will.

They blew up with Byss a year later in Empire's End, but I personally reject that; Luke Skywalker is many things, but he will never be a deadbeat dad.

Just imagine these guys hanging around just off screen throughout the rest of the Legends canon, because what do you even do with the dark side thralls you accidentally created in your goth era, ethically?
