The Official Performative Purity Test

This is funny, for a certain generation. I’m an old duck so I didn’t understand all of the questions.

But I most certainly read “Pride and Prejudice” on the tram. The 1980s version of performative was reading Tolstoy or Ulysses (I have yet to meet the person who finished Joyce’s Ulysses) or Dostoyevsky. In public. And the book had to be discreetly peeking out of the back pocket of your op shop grandpa slacks.
