don’t you love it when an actual korean(and multiple other koreans multiple other times) speak out about an issue in the kpop fandom and people just:

1. ulzzangs are not real anymore ?? like they aren’t a thing. a random pretty girl/boy with a bit of clout on ig is not an ulzzang

2. those accs have literally mentioned that they do not want their pictures taken and used,, respect their wishes it’s not that hard

3. aestheticisation and fetishization of koreans is a big issue in the international kpop fandom. you may not think you’re contributing to the problem but using random koreans for your posts/moodboards is aestheticisation and that literally is the problem.

hyominnn: 새해를 맞아 오랜만에 인사드려요. 잘지내고 계시죠? 저희는 작년을 마지막으로 10년이라는 긴 시간 동안 함께 했던 회사와는 이별을 하게 됐어요. 그치만 걱정은 마세요. 아직 구체적으로는 말씀 드릴 순 없지만 멤버들은 앞으로도 어디있든 언제든 함께 할 수 있을 거에요. 멤버들 각자 오랜만에 자기시간을 갖고 여유도 부려보며, 어떻게 하면 앞으로 팬분들과 함께 할 수 있는 자리를 많이 마련 할 수 있을지 진중히 고민해 보기로 했어요. 물론 개인적으로도 팬 여러분 많이 그리고 자주 찾아 뵐 예정이에요. 누군가로부터 사랑 받는 것이 당연하다고만 생각했던 어렸던 그 때 부터, 사랑 받지 못 할 것을 알면서도 다시 시작 하는 지금까지 많은 가르침을 준 그동안의 시간에 다시 한 번 감사하게 되네요. 또 다른 시작에 설레기도 하지만 10년이란 긴 세월동안 동고동락했던 회사와의 이별에 마치 오랜시간 만난 연인과 헤어진 후 바로 또 다른 사랑을 시작 하기엔 겁이 나듯 조심스러운 부분이 있는것은 사실이에요. 그리고 팬 분들께는 비록 끝은 아니지만 일단 10년이란 시간 아낌없이 응원 해 주신 것에 진심으로 감사하단 말 꼭 드리고 싶었어요. 그리고 모두 고생하셨습니다! 조만간 좋은 소식으로 찾아 올테니 팬 여러분들 너무 염려말고 기다려주세요. 그럼 2018년엔 하시고자 하는 일 모두 이루시고 새해 복 많이 많이 받으세요!
