Introduction to @fallinggravity678's Triple Threat AU!

I've put a lot of thought and care into designing these little shits but without them, they would not exist so go send love to oomfie too

For simplicity's sake, we've just been referring to them as Evil!Huey/Dewey/Louie but I don't think it matters too much

A bit of backstory! The boys were stolen as eggs by F.O.W.L. under Heron's direction. She assumed they'd be able to grant access to the papyrus as relatives of Scrooge and was wrong. Her and Bradford argued about what to do with them for years but ended up raising them (might be a bit of an overstatement, they lived more like inconvenient pets) until they were about 9 and the lighthouse base was moved out as Scrooge was getting too close to the truth. Since they had to severely downsize to fit the new, smaller, more cost efficient base under Funzo's, they dropped the boys off at the city limits.

Huey, being Huey, immediately rationalized this as a test instead of abandonment and from then on has worked tirelessly to impress F.O.W.L. in the best way he knows possible; capturing Scrooge McDuck. The other two believe in their brother's dream to make their lives better more than they believe this will actually work.

They gave themselves names instead of designations, set up camp in a rickety old warehouse on the edge of town, and have been lying in wait for the perfect opportunity until a girl in a pink bow throws a wrench into their entire operation.

Some concepts and misc under the cut!

They haven't really changed since V1! Some minor tweaks that came with drawing them more comfortably and some more obvious wear on Dewey's cape but that's just about it

Note for the second image here I wasn't able to fit into their bios, on top of real names, they also gave themselves codenames for added privacy, The Duke, The Marauder, and The Serpent respectively. Dewey first proposed "Captain Dewey, Scourge of the Seas" but was shot down almost instantly.

I'd love to take questions about these guys if you have them, they've been living rent free since April

Labyrinth AU ★ thought id take a crack at my own ducktales au, I plan on making more art for everyone in the labyrinth but obvi I had to start with my favorite duo

Louie got luckier than most.

If you can call this lucky..

He only spent about three days alone.

He lost Della during the initial fall into the labyrinth, their hands slipping apart in the chaos. Somehow, he escaped with nothing worse than a badly twisted ankle, clinging to the hope that she'd landed somewhere nearby.

For those first few days, he wandered the endless halls calling out for everyone—Huey, Dewey, Webby, Scrooge—but mostly his mom. Every unanswered shout twisted the guilt a little tighter. If he'd just held on a little longer... maybe they wouldn't have been separated. He had no way of knowing whether Della was hurt, alive, or even still searching for him.

Then Webby found him. They've been together ever since.

They aren't sure how long it’s been. They’re only focused on the endless stone corridors, dead ends, scavenged meals, and searching for the rest of their family. Once, they were sure they heard Della screaming somewhere in the maze. They chased the sound until they couldn't run anymore... and never found her.

Louie has no trouble falling asleep. Staying asleep is the hard part. Every time he closes his eyes, he's dragged right back to the moment he lost Della—the panic, the helplessness, the feeling of her hand slipping from his. He wakes with a jolt more often than not, never feeling like he's actually rested.

Webby isn't sleeping at all. Not because she's afraid of the labyrinth, but because someone has to keep watch. If Louie finally manages to get a few hours of sleep, she's determined to make sure nothing interrupts it. Though, sometimes she has to force him to keep going..

She's become fiercely protective of him, always keeping herself between Louie and whatever danger the labyrinth throws at them. She won't let him put too much weight on his injured ankle, keeps watch while he sleeps, and never lets him out of her sight for long.

Right now, Louie is all she has left. Until they find the others, she's determined to make sure she doesn't lose him too.

They just have to keep moving, that's all. Just keep moving..

oh and I am so obviously going to be writing something for this, but I wanna make the art first!! 🫣 top left has the maze and everyone’s estimated whereabouts! I plan on fleshing out the maze and giving more context before I post any full writings.

The Worst Junior Woodchuck Weekend of a Non-Junior Woodchuck: Chapter 4

Louie's not having a good time this chapter. To bad the next one will be worse. :(

Huey finally got the courage to ask what happened to his counterpart from Ewell's (Ll-ewell-yn) world and surprisingly, Ewell answered... vaguely.

Just sketched this up quick last night and I was going to add line work and colour but I kind of like the roughness of it here so... (And I got distracted by other things) Might do quick sketches like this for the Duck family asking what happened to them in the other world... None of them have good endings.

Zombie World Huey's End...

Huey became obsessed with trying to find a cure. Trying to catch and hold zombies so he could run tests that get more and more disturbing as time goes by. Louie tries talking to him, but Huey doesn't want to hear it and ignores his brother. As he loses himself to his research, which morphs more and more into torturing the zombies as The Duke takes over, his rage and agony over losing so much of his family to these creatures over taking his more scientific mind. Again Louie and Webby try to step in and pull him out of the abyss he's worked himself into, but Huey is to far gone. His end comes when he's in the middle of one of his 'researching sessions', Louie comes to talk to him and having had enough Huey takes his eyes off the zombie he was working on to yell at his brother. This distraction costs him and he gets bit. Huey laughs, and Louie watches in horror as his brother turns on the zombie and starts attacking it back, biting it and clawing at it like he's already turned. He can do nothing as he watches his brother continue to tear apart the zombie that bit him until he fully turns. After Zombie Huey has won his battle, he turns on Louie, forcing Louie to put his brother down.

I don't know what scam Louie just pulled, but apparently it made an impression. XD

I can't be the only one who could see these two teaming up to make all kinds of get rich quick schemes together!?

I just recently started watching Quack Pack (it's surprisingly charming honestly!) But I was shocked to see that Huey seemed to be the one spearheading most of their schemes while Louie was mostly just kinda hanging out and chilling. It made me think that if QuackPack Huey and 2017 Louie met, they'd get along like wildfire. That or they'd hate each other. Maybe a bit of both.

Either way... I just wanted to sketch out something quick for this because the idea made me laugh. XD

Zombie survivor Louie (Ewell) might pretty much be a feral cat right now but that's nothing a little TLC can't fix! ...Hopefully... (I should give this dude scars...)

Last Man Standing! Zombie Apocalypse Louie!

Warning for Blood, bro's covered in it. Very unhygienic honestly. Guess these zombies only transfer through bites and scratches... and consumption.

What gear bro's taking off his loved ones after they've fallen.

Dewey's elbow pads :

Dewey was parkouring in the fallen city of Duckburg for supplies with Louie. They ended up getting swarmed and while they made it to high ground, the zombies started after them. They try to out run and out maneuver them, but the sound of the horde is only drawing more and more till eventually they get completely surrounded. They end up barricading a door to the roof that they're on, but the zombies are pounding at the door and it's only a matter of time until they get to them. Louie's in a panic but Dewey managed to find a plank that they can put across from one roof to the next. It's incredibly high up and Louie is petrified of walking across it. Dewey makes him go first to make sure that he'll actually make it across and while there's a few close calls and the door is splintering with the zombies almost shoving their way in, Louie does make it across. Just as Dewey goes to get on the plank however the door breaks and the horde crashes in like a wave. Dewey knows he won't make it across the plank and so to keep his brother safe, he just shoves it off the roof. Louie screams for Dewey but Dewey just smile and tells Louie to tell the others he went out epically and turns back to face the horde. He's quickly swallowed by the ground and Louie can do nothing but watch as the swam tightens around where Dewey fell followed by his screams that eventually fade.

Lena was the next to go down. With her magic abilities she was relied on heavily to protect the group. She never told anyone if she was getting tired and burnt out though, not wanting to let them down or worry them. Sadly, with a lack of access to food, water, sleep, and the over use of her abilities that drained her, during what should have been a simple recon mission with the group for a new shopping center they wanted to gather supplies from. It started off okay, but when they end up running into a whole horde they have to make a quick escape. Lena is trying to take out as many as she can but she's running low on energy and that leads her to making a mistake that ends with her getting bit. Not knowing if her turning would mean she could still use her magic against her friends, she begs them to end her before she turns. Webby takes up the task and completes her final wish. They take her sweater and cut it into pieces for each of them to remember her by and bury her.

Webby's Toolbelt and Bandolier:

Webby was the last to go down. After they've lost everyone, Webby falls into a deep depression. Normally the one who sees the positives in life and the most loving of the group, she sinks into herself as the world continues to fall apart and the people that are left continue to disappoint her with how horrible they all are. Louie tries to keep her optimism alive, but finds it harder as the days go by and surviving becomes a distracting struggle. At one point the two come across a kid about their age hiding, a sweet girl who Webby instantly grows attached too even though Louie is skeptical. Not wanting to crush the new light in her eyes Louie decides to keep his mouth shut and just keep an eye on her as Webby invites the girl back to their current base. He wakes up to a loud gunshot, seeing that Webby has killed the girl. Apparently she was just trying to steal what little supplies they had and when Webby caught her she tried to fight against her, nearly stabbing her and leaving Webby to shoot her. Webby's mood becomes even worse and she barely talks in the following weeks until Louie wakes up one morning to find her toolbelt and her bandolier and a short note. Webby has left. Louie tries to find her and after days eventually finds her, her zombie form dangling from a rope. Louie puts her down.

And that's how Louie ends up on his own. The adults died earlier, protecting the kids from what they could and putting themselves in the line of fire until they went down.

Eventually I could imagine this Louie getting pulled into another timeline of his world where the zombie apocalypse never happened and them trying to bring him into their family only for him not to be having it, but alas. XD

Good things come in threes!

Feels like it's getting easier to draw these guys now that I'm not trying to make them 'show' accurate and just testing things out. Also, I found new brushes! I like how they look A LOT better. Gives it more of a pop I think.

Also, I want to play around with their hair a bit more and the bill shapes because... ugh. The front facing bills... (It took so long to find a good background colour too that made all their colours stick out without being overwhelming and Dewey STILL fades into the background a bit. DX)
