Colby: Yeah... Thankfully, it seems like they've forgotten about you (for the most part), but Jack, John, Tammy, Cornelius, and who knows who else is most likely in danger.

I don't know for sure if they're coming after us yet, but I do know what they're working on, and we need to be cautious. Especially with your guy's daughter here now.

Colby: Thank you, Steve. That means a lot. I was going to fill Jack in once he was back on his feet because I was worried about him dragging himself out on a case while sick, and I didn't want him to hurt himself, but this case is bigger than I thought with more twists and turns than an angry rattlesnake and we're actually in danger

*whispering* Apparently, BMP is working with the cultists and scientists to figure out how to ressurect their dead comrades and break Soyer out of jail to enact revenge against us from what I've found so far

Colby: I just hope you get better soon enough, Jack.

Hopefully, these cases aren't too big for one mouse (or Jerboa) to handle, and my solo detective skills are still as good.

I already got roped into a case that involves the BMP, the cultists, the scientists, and some kind of necromancy while you were sick, and I'm not as good at multitasking huge cases as you are.

Colby: Oh. I just figured that was the case because I saw two cups that looked almost like demonic versions of you guys in town on our way over here. But since it's a completely different thing, we can still help with that.

*sigh* (Jack is probably gonna be stuck in bed recovering again for a while, so add this to the list of cases I'm solving this month.)

(Colby started talking to himself on that second one)

So you boys need help with evil versions of yourselves, from what I understand?

Colby: Oh.. maybe it's not a good time to ask for pointers since I don't know much about this case. I've only really been casual small talking to the cups and their dads.

“Well maybe ask about the evils? The two cups want us to help with?”

Is Jack still sick? Is it gonna mess up his recovery??

“I feel a bit better but I still feel my nose running.. and I can barely smell..”

“He should be stable for the most part! Just had to do a c-section is all”
