enchcntment:
It is both adorable and flattering to hear her name without being regarded by the hunter. It’s nothing new nor, does it do harm to her ego. Its the impression she leaves upon others, even the other deities in kind.
Though there were no places to hide from her now, save for the very foliage before them that stretched into the unknown. And surely, as much of this plane seemed to be, would only circle back to the very beginning one had come from.
There was more than enough time to chat, if not, more than enough.
“Well, my dear Artemis, I do exist independently of the others. And while there may be nothing out here for me.” Aphrodite traces her hands over her shoulders until her arms encompass Artemis’ shoulders. “Here I am.” A soft purr from her throat before she withdraws to move in languid motions to settle herself in front of the other goddess.
“Have you found anything of particular interest, or is it safe to assume your answers are liken to my own?” This whole world was more of a labyrinth than their father or uncles could have made up themselves? Perhaps something else a little more ominous. .
Of the many gods and goddesses that populated their pantheon, Aphrodite was one of many she had a hard time dealing with. It wasn’t as if the Goddess of love was abrasive or ignorant like so many of her other family members, far from it, she was sometimes a comforting presence.
Yet, Artemis was not always comfortable with her either, Aphrodite always felt as if she knew more than she let on and the knowing smirk, and touch she freely gave would always keep the Goddess of the hunt aflutter and tongue-tied.
As Aphrodite hugs her, she doesn’t shy away from the touch despite the hint of pink growing across her cheeks. “Nope. Nothing, just got here really. Um... It depends on what your answers are.”
And feeling her hands leave, she turns to face the goddess. “But it sounds like you’ve been here a while. Have you well? ... I mean. Have you been well?”
