I can not take credit for these. There’s so many but these were my favorites. Netflix posted all these and more over here: [ link ]
Much love and gratitude to @kirkmcoy for pointing these out!
The Old Guard Book Two: Force Multiplied #1-5 + TPB, written by Greg Rucka, art by Leandro Fernández, colors by Daniela Miwa
The original 2017 Old Guard comic was supposed to be a stand-alone story, but Greg Rucka and Leandro Fernández eventually decided to expand it to a trilogy, which was a most welcome decision: while book 1 was a perfectly complete and satisfying story, those characters were so interesting we were left wanting more. And now that the introductions have been made we can plunge head first into the heavy stuff: what is the purpose of one's life? Do we make the world a better place? And do the answers change when you're more or less immortal and have already lived a long, long life?
And as usual, all that wrapped in a character-driven high octane action with stellar art and visual storytelling. Can't wait for book 3!

It’s like destiny.
I need to know he’s okay.

Another moment that break yet mend my heart at the same time is this; Nicky just can’t averts his eyes from Joe in this. Notice how he doesn’t quickly straightens up his back but instead he’s checking up on Joe first and probably wanting to make an eye-contact, but realises that Joe is still closing his eyes
The stare keeps on going for a couple of seconds, and of course, just as natural as breathing, the first thing whenever each of them open their eyes after being attacked or ‘dead’, they have to be look at one another; that’s exactly what Joe does. Even in this time of crisis, I can feel that they’re in the own world; only two of them. Without the threats been surrounding them tight and close
I don’t need to explain this thing further because for the obvs reason. But the way Joe leans in first, as the silent words of saying “sono qui” and bumps his head to Nicky is just warm my heart so much
Everyone say Thank you Luca Marinelli and Marwan Kenzari for this scene

Here is the secret to fandom:
Give zero fucks about what anyone else is doing.
Seriously. I mean it. Because inevitably you will love something that no one else loves. Or you will love something that everyone loves and people will shit all over it because it’s “so trite and unimaginative and done.” Or you will love something that no one else has ever heard of. Or you will love something dark and edgy and or obscure and people will roll their eyes and say, “What, do you want people to think you’re dark and edgy and obscure?”
Alternatively, you will not love the thing that everyone else loves, and you will wonder what precisely is wrong with you that the sight of that thing is aggravating the shit out of you now when the whole world sings its praises as one.
People will irritate you. They’ll irritate you with headcanons that make no sense and misinterpretations of canon. They will make the same jokes 500 times. They will overwhelm your corner of fandom with something you either are tired of hearing about or don’t care about. They will post art that isn’t theirs. You will meet people who think you are the greatest person ever and bombard you with messages only to wander off when they find someone new or shinier; you will meet people whom you admire and who do not really seem to notice you exist.
So give zero fucks about it. Seriously. Like what you like, blacklist what you need to blacklist, and ignore everything else. Be friends, play nice, enjoy it. And in the meantime, just do you. Like what you like, love what you love, and to hell with all the rest of it.
How????Like all her super long dresses at film festivals/awards are gorgeous but so are all her outfits for fashion shows????
